I recently purchased the VST, and it’s truly amazing. However, there is one major inconvenience: we cannot export only the chords, bassline, or melody separately. Everything is grouped together after generating, which is frustrating. We should have the option to use the elements either separated or grouped. Additionally, for the chords, it’s impossible to see the names of the played notes, which is essential. For example, when using a VST like Captain Chords Epic, we have the flexibility to modify what we’ve created freely and easily. Please consider addressing these issues in the next update: Allow exporting of individual elements (chords, bassline, melody) separately or as a group. Make chord names visible for better usability. Ensure that the workflow allows users to freely modify what they create. Thank you for considering this, and I hope it will be improved soon.
just bought this and its a game changer! as far as song starters to full on manipulation goes this plug in is endless!!! would 100% recommend any producer new or experienced checks this one out... we just made seven beats and we're only on day one. Thank you to the boys at lemonade and sauceware for giving us this holy grail of a vst!

This seems to rival captain melody and while maybe not heavy on the music theory like scaler is it seems to be easier and more user friendly. I wish there was a trial but I am going to check this out anyway. It seems miles ahead of Musia. I can write melodies but it takes me so long sometimes.
I don't get too impressed with vst's nowadays, maybe because of the amount I own. But looking closely at spawn made me curious. I didn't need another vst. But after hearing this and seeing the huge potential with this. The creators of this is on to something big here. The price and the fire that comes out is Unreal. I haven't felt like this in a long time. This is going to make everyone step up their game.

It won’t. If a plugin is what it takes for you to stimulate you to bring heat, then you’re in the wrong line of business. Go do some videogame editing or something.
Are you gonna make this work for more than trap music, that's my only gripe right now along with it being stuck to 4 bars, sometimes it seems to also generate the same melodies or near similar to them, unison midi wizard 2 which i also own has a genre selector which is cool from dubstep to other things, if it would be possible to also do something more pop that would be cool too, maybe a way to show variations of the generated midi you choose to currently view would be cool too / a way to extend it from 4 bars to 8 etc.
Hey, great feedback! bar extension is coming in an update (hopefully in a couple days) and we're going to keep training new models with other genres, & moods. It does take a bit of time and computing power but we're working towards offering that in a update in the near future.
@sauceware I too would love to utilize bar extending. 8 to 16 bars would be nice🙌🏽 also I feel fx arrangment would be good, as some producers layer their fx for sound control. Appreciate yall

@@R1CKARD0 Yeah I was gonna suggest the same. The Ideas are too short with 4 bars. 8 or 16 bars would allow more creative and evolving chord progressions and melodies.
To answer the core of your question, the odds of you selecting the 'same' melody as someone else is less than a 1% chance, and in the chance that you do, it's still completely safe due to the fact it's an AI generated output which is 100% royalty free. Add on top of that the fact you’ll have different sounds, BPM, drums etc and those odds increase in your favor… These are better odds than using the same sample pack as the next producer. A fundamental of AI is it must be trained on a 'training dataset' - we trained the Spawn algorithm on 10s of thousands of different MIDI all ethically sourced. With that training dataset the AI is capable of outputting several new outputs (to the extent of what seems infinite) - however, it is nearly impossible to guarantee complete uniqueness from any AI model (that's not a Spawn problem, that's a grander AI science issue even companies like Google face). So don’t let any company try to sell you on the fact AI is 100% unique, there is always a very small chance.
“Export midi” button to export midi to a specific folder would be nice. Sometimes you come across dope midi but still want to be able to change the tags without losing em. I personally prefer my midi in dedicated folders. This along with being able to import midi and have spawn make slight variations of it… those two features would be absolutely amazing. I would love the ability to save certain parts and a reSpawn of other parts .... example save melody reSpawn the bass and chords . Lock the part you want and reSpawn new parts
yesterday it worked perfectly fine, now the Spawn sample generator doesnt work and it tells me that i am not connected to the sever. can this happen due to sauceware working on the software?
Hey thanks for the feedback! the MIDI separation is coming (hopefully in a few days) with the option to increase the the bars. But switching between the 8 MIDI independently would be fire! you'd only be able to do that if the MIDI was all in the same key. We'll look into this and I'll add it to the update list.
We’re currently working on this feature! What I suggest is opening a second spawn, mute the chords on Spawn 1 and solo the chords on Spawn 2 and flip through the different options. Just make sure you lock it to the same key.
Spawn only generate 4 bar loops (8 bars coming very soon) the idea was to give you a starting point you could build out into something of your own. For arrangements you’d still do that inside of your DAW. We felt companies like Suno were doing way too much when they generated the entire song. For us the fun is in the creative process. So we wanted to make a spark that the user could manipulate further.
Cool. Also I don’t believe AI steals music if it creates something new that’s what we do as humans. We create new music based on all the music we’ve heard.
Maybe add a mobile plugin for iPad? For those who also produce on the go. Might be a good idea to have the ability to use your second activation key on iPad as an additional device rather than making people pay twice. (Once for Mobile, and once for Desktop versions)
What kind of updates will you guys be implementing to the VST? I'd love an 8 bar feature instead of just 4. And will the VST just automatically update for me? I bought it yesterday and im loving all the possibilities.

I want like the guitar let’s say in one, the bass in the other and etc. Because when I take them out, all the midis end up in the same channel rack, I want them separately if you understand what I’m saying?

I'm loving this plug-in guys but Is there any possibility you guys can add a tempo changer or something. I work in halftime and the samples start in double. Maybe giving us the option like Serato sample, That would be awesome.
The authorization code only works for one computer. Reach out to them and they might hook you up with another one. They have to fix this so it works at least twice. Most producers have at least a mobile laptop and desktop/ studio laptop.
The same thing happened to me it's scam it won't load up on my computer the activation code don't even work it says fail 401 I bought a new computer and it still won't take the activation code they are crap just like unison audio
@@jjbing3 What if your computer is broken and you have to put it on a new one that's what happened to me in the s*** is not working it won't take the activation code and it won't give a refund they already know what was going to happen it's a scam
ahhh that's actually a great idea. Gonna add this to the list! We have a couple short commands for the XY pad so I don't see why we couldn't make this happen
This plugin is really great but has limitations which make it not as useful as it can be. I don't like the fact that the Melody, Chords, and Bass have to be exported together in the same piano roll. It should also produce up to 8 bars not just 4, that is just super short, which I guess is not a big deal being that each generation gives 8 different MIDIs but the other issue there is each one is in a different key so can't really throw them all together easily if we wanted to. It would be nice for the choice to have all 8 MIDIs generate in the same key if we wanted to. Lastly being able to download as a sample loop straight from the plugin to outside the DAW as well would be really useful in so many ways (and not forced to do so with all three parts together in same piano roll) I'm not trying to hate on the plugin at all, it is really cool. I guess I just had expected more when I was first seeing the videos about it. I hope you all consider adding some or all these features in the future. If so thanks

We're biased but in some ways this gives your more control then Arcade because it's instrument's you can edit, not samples being stretched (which I believe is what Arcade is doing) And yes updates are OTW!
So I just got this plugin and it barely runs on my old system so i got a new computer and installed it and tried to activate it but now it won't activate. I go to my old PC to deactivate it so I can activate it on my new system but there is no deactivate option. Help me out.

Windows Producers! Make sure you have at least 10 gigs on your C:\ drive before purchasing the vst. It's a dope plugin, but takes up quite a bit of space to download, extract, etc....
I really love the idea of a sound set, similar to Trifecta. Is there a way to see the sound set presets in a list like the individual sources? I know for a fact they’re there, as I can scroll through manually and find the same ones used in the demo videos. Would be really nice to see them, and also be able to create our own soundsets as presets.

What’s the deal with the multi track in logic I’ve done everything shown in the video but it’s messing everything up and doesn’t allow me to edit individually whatever I do on one track ends up being done on the other tracks two
Even though the audio it split in logic, that doesn't impact the MIDI splits... The way Spawn works is your piano roll is split into three sections. @ this what I am saying I’ve done all of that but it doesn’t make a difference whatever I edit on one channel will be edited on all channels example, if I have the melody on one and base on another after following the steps in the video and I want to EQ my melody it will also EQ the base , this is impossible to work with
@@MERC_Master For Logic users, ‘multi-timbral instrument’ then go to your mixer and create the additional outputs then right click - create track for each. Otherwise you won’t have independent control over your channels. Save the template so you don’t have to do it every time.

Yep! The problem with 'other AI generated Loops' and the reason they are flagged is because they are trained unethically (on stolen data). We've trained our models ethically directly with artists and have the proper legal paperwork in place to train Spawn's AI to truly be 100% royalty free

@sauceware Maybe in SPAWN2 you add genre match. Start with R&B, Hip Hop, Pop. Select the genre you feeling then the click tags then generate. This thing is so fire 🔥

Need Lock Midi Toggle for all 3 sections, as well as a key lock toggle for midi generation. Overall one of the best Vst's I've ever used though

Yes, that would help a lot but it would be cpu heavy because you would probably need three different Spawns open.

Nah there will always be different melodies. It's connected to the internet, so the AI is doing its thing

is the midi import/ make slight variations feature coming to this plugin?
Spawn is King.. But how i can Conert Spawn Content to a Loop? Or is just possible to convert the Midi.. needs more Tutorial.. but the Melos is soooo nice.. I totaly love it but need more Tutorials❤
I would love the ability to save certain parts and a reSpawn of other parts .... example save melody reSpawn the bass and chords . Lock the part you want and reSpawn new parts

Yes. They are discussing locking one element so you can move between them but keep this melody and move it to the next set of chords or bass. Etc.

Hey thanks for the feedback! the MIDI separation is coming (hopefully in a few days) with the option to increase the the bars. But switching between the 8 MIDI independently would be fire! you'd only be able to do that if the MIDI was all in the same key. We'll look into this and I'll add it to the update list.

You can use your own midi by turning on instrument mode, and using spawn like any normal instrument plugin.

Does this plugin have cool drums for rock or metal? Or is this plugin more for rap and pop music?
If I like the melody but not the chords can I lock the melody and only spawn new chords?
We’re currently working on this feature! What I suggest is opening a second spawn, mute the chords on Spawn 1 and solo the chords on Spawn 2 and flip through the different options. Just make sure you lock it to the same key.
So how do u arrange your track using Spawn???
Spawn only generate 4 bar loops (8 bars coming very soon) the idea was to give you a starting point you could build out into something of your own. For arrangements you’d still do that inside of your DAW. We felt companies like Suno were doing way too much when they generated the entire song. For us the fun is in the creative process. So we wanted to make a spark that the user could manipulate further.
Cool. Also I don’t believe AI steals music if it creates something new that’s what we do as humans. We create new music based on all the music we’ve heard.

Maybe add a mobile plugin for iPad? For those who also produce on the go. Might be a good idea to have the ability to use your second activation key on iPad as an additional device rather than making people pay twice. (Once for Mobile, and once for Desktop versions)

Hi best friend! Let’s say I get a melody that I like n everything, and I want to export it into midis in my channel rack (fl studio), is it a way I can bring the melodies out separately? I want like the guitar let’s say in one, the bass in the other and etc. Because when I take them out, all the midis end up in the same channel rack, I want them separately if you understand what I’m saying?

I'm loving this plug-in guys but Is there any possibility you guys can add a tempo changer or something. I work in halftime and the samples start in double. Maybe giving us the option like Serato sample, That would be awesome.

I installed on my laptop however it won't install on my desktop. I have add the authorization code but the button isn't working! Why not?
The authorization code only works for one computer. Reach out to them and they might hook you up with another one. They have to fix this so it works at least twice. Most producers have at least a mobile laptop and desktop/ studio laptop.

Possible to add a function to change , switch midi patterns with the Num pad so i can skip from 1 to 4 clicking is kinda awkward.
ahhh that's actually a great idea. Gonna add this to the list! We have a couple short commands for the XY pad so I don't see why we couldn't make this happen
Would be good to get a randomizer, even beyond tags. Just a total random selection - is that possible current state?

This plugin is really great but has limitations which make it not as useful as it can be. I don't like the fact that the Melody, Chords, and Bass have to be exported together in the same piano roll. It should also produce up to 8 bars not just 4, that is just super short, which I guess is not a big deal being that each generation gives 8 different MIDIs but the other issue there is each one is in a different key so can't really throw them all together easily if we wanted to. It would be nice for the choice to have all 8 MIDIs generate in the same key if we wanted to. Lastly being able to download as a sample loop straight from the plugin to outside the DAW as well would be really useful in so many ways (and not forced to do so with all three parts together in same piano roll)
I'm not trying to hate on the plugin at all, it is really cool. I guess I just had expected more when I was first seeing the videos about it. I hope you all consider adding some or all these features in the future. If so thanks

Same as being able to export individual MIDI files (I just posted a video on our IG with the update) and in the drop down menu under the tags you can select/lock a key of your choice which will give you the 8 MIDI files in the same key

We're biased but in some ways this gives your more control then Arcade because it's instrument's you can edit, not samples being stretched (which I believe is what Arcade is doing)

So I just got this plugin and it barely runs on my old system so i got a new computer and installed it and tried to activate it but now it won't activate. I go to my old PC to deactivate it so I can activate it on my new system but there is no deactivate option. Help me out.

If you save a preset does it also save the 'spawned' midi with it as wel? Or is there another way to save the generated midi within the plugin?
Right now it’s just the sounds. Would you want to be able to access the midi later? This is something we can do and I can add it to the update list. I’m compiling all the requests and will try my hardest to get them all in 🤝

I like spawn but I don't know how to mix the individual tracks once I route it to fl studio.
Windows Producers! Make sure you have at least 10 gigs on your C:\ drive before purchasing the vst. It's a dope plugin, but takes up quite a bit of space to download, extract, etc....
I really love the idea of a sound set, similar to Trifecta. Is there a way to see the sound set presets in a list like the individual sources?
I know for a fact they’re there, as I can scroll through manually and find the same ones used in the demo videos. Would be really nice to see them, and also be able to create our own soundsets as presets.

What’s the deal with the multi track in logic I’ve done everything shown in the video but it’s messing everything up and doesn’t allow me to edit individually whatever I do on one track ends up being done on the other tracks two
Even though the audio it split in logic, that doesn't impact the MIDI splits... The way Spawn works is your piano roll is split into three sections.

@ this what I am saying I’ve done all of that but it doesn’t make a difference whatever I edit on one channel will be edited on all channels example, if I have the melody on one and base on another after following the steps in the video and I want to EQ my melody it will also EQ the base , this is impossible to work with
@@MERC_Master For Logic users, ‘multi-timbral instrument’ then go to your mixer and create the additional outputs then right click - create track for each. Otherwise you won’t have independent control over your channels. Save the template so you don’t have to do it every time.

Yep! The problem with 'other AI generated Loops' and the reason they are flagged is because they are trained unethically (on stolen data). We've trained our models ethically directly with artists and have the proper legal paperwork in place to train Spawn's AI to truly be 100% royalty free

@sauceware Maybe in SPAWN2 you add genre match. Start with R&B, Hip Hop, Pop. Select the genre you feeling then the click tags then generate. This thing is so fire 🔥
