Girrrrrl… 😳😂 I feel you though, it’s so hard to stop especially when thrifted books are so cheap. My bookshelves are overflowing because of that haha. But yes, no need for excuses, if it makes you happy, that’s a good enough reason! Gotta have an Agatha Christie category, so many good finds!! Also love the cozy background!

Never a bad time for thrifting books... Until there is no room in the house!

Some of those covers look amazing, and some… I wonder who approved that! 😂 Specifically the “flower” and the creepy severed head or what that even was! Wow!
Don’t feel bad about thrifting books, if it makes you happy and you can afford it, why not?! It’s not hurting anyone, and I love watching these. I was having a hard day and this video was very comforting to watch. We all get the geeking out over books and bookshelves ^^ And if the collection ever becomes overbearing, you can just pick your favorites to keep and donate the rest back, and then all you’ve done is been happy for a while and donated some money 😊 Also, Don Kikoti is so cute 😂

Exactly! It's for charity as well, my thrift store is a public one and they donate their profits to different charities every year, so I'm actually doing a public service buying books from there. Right? 🤪

Tombs of Atuan is fantasy rather than SF, you could actually read Tombs of Atuan without reading The Wizard of Earthsea, but it would add some background to one of the characters,. Wizard is a children's book and Tombs is much more adult. She is unlike any other SFF writer, my favourite author. Love all those Christies.

Excellent, thanks for the info. Very good to know. I've heard so much about Le Guin lately on Booktube but I had never heard of her before. I'm very excited to read some of her work.

    I LO♡E John Gwynne!
I have read all of his books. Malice is good, but Wrath and Ruin are the best in the series.
Mary Elizabeth Braddon is good! I've read her gothic short story collectio "The Face in the Glass" twice. And I have been looking forward to "Lady Audley's Secret".
I haven't read them, but I will say the Earthsea series is middlegrade, I have read "Lathe of Heaven" which I liked and "The Dispossssed" which I did not like.
