I have been a big fan of the police from the beginning. Copeland is a fantastic composer and definitely one of the best drummers ever but I have always felt that Sting is a genius. He is a phenomenal lyricist, composer, singer and bassist and is versatile. Sting has been someone who I always hought for decades is one of a very few musicians that are truly the greatest.

Agreed - Stewart absolutely is an icon and the BEST DRUMMER I HAVE EVER HEARD... however, he may not be the best singer, and so perhaps he should have let Mark sing this instead... BUT, Stewart DID write this song and so, if he chooses to sing it himself, he has every right to. Whatever way you feel about it, I just know I will love him til the day I die and I am truly grateful for the music he has given us. I'm 54 years old now but honestly believe that without The Police's music in the early 80's (and without sounding like a drama queen/tw@t), I would be dead by now. ❤
