Thank you my friend! I had too much fun flying it that day lol The next video I post of it will show me being a little crazier than normal since it was so well behaved 👊🏻💥👊🏻
Nice work. Like the front gear and the build quality of FMS. Cool it comes with a gyro and like some it seems to fly quite nicely without. I might actually get one of these and put it on Floats.
Hey! Can this plane fly well in a 150 ft long by 50 ft backyard with trees? Is it too big? And how does it handle taking off and landing on grass? Thanks!
I would highly recommend against it as that is a very small area to fly with a plane this size. Could an experienced flyer like me probably make it work? Most likely, but it wouldn’t be fun being that confined. The other thing to consider is the hight of the trees. I hope this response was helpful 👊🏻💥👊🏻
@@GBLynden very helpful indeed, thanks, but I have another location near my abode that is a rectangular field, 450 ft by 250 ft, much larger, only trees on perimeter. Would the plane Handle this better? Can the plane handle tight turns in general? And how high can/shouldwe fly the plane? Thanks!
Getting some height above the trees would be smart. Without seeing video/pictures of the locations it is hard to say for sure. Regarding max height, I would say do not go too much higher than to clear the tree-line to ensure you maintain orientation. This plane is surprisingly responsive for a beginner-focused RC Plane. I will say that if you do decide to buy it and I am not too late answering this question, be sure to use my Promo Codes in the video description to save yourself some $$$ 👊🏻💥👊🏻
GB always great review and flying. If this Old Man from Washington NC was doing more flying it would be own by list 😜. Say HI to Darci and Jodie for me ✈️🧔💝💝💝
Boy, I would assume it would, provided you are able to get the CG right. It might just fly a little heavier, but not too bad since it flies so light on the smaller packs. Please let me know how it turns out and thank you for your comment 👊🏻💥👊🏻
For some it might be, but a UMX Turbo Timber will seems just as fast to a New Pilot. Either way, the use of throttle is important and the extra power will help when the wind kicks up. I will say that the Ultra Micro Carbon Cub, though less tolerant of wind, is a great option for those who want a slower plane that will not stall and fall out of the sky as easily as those other two.

Very nice GB! Great review. This is a very good airplane and I like that they added a wing spar and gave it a bright paint scheme.

great review and video I have the ranger 1220 guess v1 still a fun flyer and use to train new pilots on it great job😊👍👍
Thank you very much my friend! I am happy to hear that the V1 is a proven trainer 👊🏻💥👊🏻
Nice plane and review GB . Have fun with it . ✈👍🏼
Thank you Philip for being the first comment! I have been having fun with it for sure 👊🏻💥👊🏻
3:38 That's your cue to use throttle cut on transmitter.
Thank you for watching! I learned a bad habit with my DX6i to put the rudder on the Throttle Cut Switch (H) 👊🏻💥👊🏻
ER - "What happened?"
GBL - "I flew my toy airplane into my face in my bedroom."
@@GBLynden Why would you put the rudder on the throttle cut switch?
It looked like you accidently bumped the throttle while checking the rudder.
Hahaha
That is how I have always done it since the DX6i, which had the switches labeled for the different controls.

Thank you Bill! It is a pretty darn good price for what you get and it would be fun flying together 👊🏻💥👊🏻
