They've really upgraded throughout the years. But something about the simplistic dances of back then made it so everyone can dance in someway. Today the moves are much more advanced depending on the song. Really gives you a work out these days lol. But their backgrounds can be a bit distracting in their newer versions. Since they are sooo flashy and busy, just trying to pay attention to the little dance icon to show me my next move lol.
That’s amazing! I used to have a wii.. it was my whole childhood, but we sold it for a PS4 We didn’t use that wii anymore so it felt like it was the right thing to do, now it can bring happiness to another family :))

JD4, o 2014 e o 2015 são os melhores. Acho que foram o auge dos JD. Depois disso, as coreografias ficaram muito simplistas e repetitivas, além dos cenários que passaram a ter um excesso de cores, texturas e coisas enormes passando na tela. A escolha de faixas realmente melhorou bastante e acrescentaram músicas de vários gêneros e países, mas acho que foi o único ponto em que realmente evoluíram.
Foi literalmente o efeito contrário, os primeiros jogos tinham cenários minimalistas ou que não se moviam muito e danças bem elaboradas e desafiantes Os mais novos tem os cenários muito poluídos e as coreografias muito simples e nem um pouco desafiantes (tirando as extremes e raríssimas exceções) :/

Excluding the just dance kids games, I loved the graphical and visual evolution of the games. just dance one had more basic backgrounds that barely meshed with some songs and the clothes were more stereotypical time period themes, while JD2 and 3 juiced up the visuals with better color saturations and more cool backgrounds and outfits and just dance 4 and beyond did a good choice toning down the saturations so we could see the hair and clothes better so it wasn't so saturated and the environments looked more high tech and like they really invested in better background graphics and programs! After 2014 tho I tuned out since JD imo has ran it's course, the dance formula is the same for all songs: repeat 2 or 3 moves 2-4 times in a row, do a repetitive dance during the chorus, repeat, and then do a bridge dance sequence and repeat, it just became boring and the songs just arent as engaging as when I was a younger teen. If they actually stepped up the choreography and made it on par with games like Dance Central I think I would play it again because the dancing is just so repetitive and boring now, the best dances are usually the extreme version but the last best choreography imo was the Applause extreme version where they had an actual celebrity choreographer design the dance and if was far more varied and more fun. I miss that
I remember in Primary we used to do Just Dance every Friday during Golden Time, I'm in Year 11 now and we do Just Dance every PE lesson, it's really fun!
i think it's a involution because in jd4 it was at the highest point and then it went downhill. they took off awesome modes like sweat mode (from jd4), just dance machine, world video challenge, community remix, mashups and reused the same UI for six years (2016-2018, 2019-2021). but after all i still love just dance and i hope this new game gets a new ui and some great songs

I have no idea why they haven’t released a kpop version yet, I feel like it would so well. Kpop is like the only music I listen to now so I don’t know a lot of the songs in the new Just Dance games but I do know a lot of kpop songs so I would really enjoy a Kpop version. The thing is that the Japan version was only released in Japan and the China version was only released in China so if they released a Korea version it would only be available in Korea so I hope they just a general kpop version that is available internationally.

I think Just Dance (the first one) came out when I was 7 and I’ve been in love with them ever since. I have all the main games (1-4, 2014-2022) and there are obviously some that are closer to my heart (and some that definitely could’ve been better) but I really grew up with this franchise and I regret none of it ☺️

I honestly didn't expect that many JD games, and MAN, they really went all out in 2011-2012. I have JD3, JD4, JD2015, and TBEPE, and honestly, JD3 and JD4 will be games I always fondly remember. I honestly didn't expect that many JD games, and MAN, they really went all out in 2011-2012. Honestly, I really like the inclusion of the "dynamic camera" in JD2015 (first game I saw having something like that in the JD series), and it was interesting to see the glow up when comparing the old and new games (although I still think the visuals in JD3 are the best ones for me lol)
