- Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach is showing off her apartment to INSIDE EDITION. She showed off her living room, bedroom and kitchen where she said: "I don't cook because I don't have time." As she enjoys the thrills of being Miss Universe, she can't escape the pageant debacle when host Steve Harvey announced the wrong winner. "What people saw was the real me, you can't rehearse a moment like that," she said. Afterwards Pia talked to Harvey, who she said apologized to her. #InsideEdition

Yay for Miss Universe! Did anyone notice that when Harvey announced Colombia as the winner the camera pans on Philippines instead. The camera always zooms in on the winner. I guess the television crew knew that Philippines had won and immediately sent a camera towards the back where she was standing.
Actually, Steve did not announce Miss Phils as First Runner up after announcing Colombia. Pia just went to back part of the stage willingly after embracing Ariadna. If Pia was really 1st runner up, Steve should have announced it but he didnt coz that is when he realized the mistake.
the tech people are told who the winners are precisely because their cameras should be aimed at them when the announcement happens.
+lttoverlord Good find about the Cameras, I didn't notice that at first!!! The whole winner announcement is a debate itself. Flashback to 2012, they called USA first before the 1st runner up., the same thing for 2013, Venezuela was called first as the winner before Spain. Steve just didn't do his research well for this pageant hence the mistake. Oh well.
That's why I think they need to go back to announcing the first runner up then the winner. The names on the card were listed as 2nd runner up then first runner up then Miss Universe. I think that's where Steve got confused. He announce the 2nd runner up which was USA then the winner. On the card it listed Colombia underneath USA (which had 1st runner up next to it) but Steve misread it.

I don't understand why that Columbia supporter would burn Ms. Philippines too. When she was only chosen by the judges, online votes, and contestants as the Miss Universe 2015. I mean I would understand if it is just Steve Harvey. I don't understand too on why Ms. Columbia is asking to share the crown knowing she clearly lost. I would understand if she will ask compensation or other consequences from the Miss Universe Organization or Steve Harvey for damages cause by the mistake. She is just showing how much she doesn't deserve the title. She wasn't the only victim here and asking to share the crown is just too much because she's stepping on someone who is inocent or not at fault in what happened.
