Yes! To top it off ( me with metal poisoning and Fred with a broken rib ) Fred and I have C*vid. Today is the 6th day and we are still quite sick. After high fever, painful joints and muscles, now the neurological complaints come to the fore, it is quite scary. It took me 2 days to edit this video because I can't think. I also hear and see very bad, that makes it scary. Fred has the same complaints. We hope this gets better soon and we don't end up with a long c*vid. Have a great weekend.

When it rains it pours as they say. My husband and I just got over Covid. They gave us Paxlovid. Some sort of viral medication. Was sick probably 2 weeks but the first three days were really bad. Did not eat and hardly drank anything because I couldn’t hold it down. I am 63 with lung cancer and COPD so I was very scared to get it. But I am still here. I am also 5 year survivor of stage 4 lung cancer. I have no sign of disease right now thanks to God and the medication Keytruda.
Dogs are so cute and I love watching them.

As we say here in the U.S....."When it rains, it pours." I'm glad your girls are teens and not needing too much of your attention right now........ I hope you can just lay around....pet your pups.....take your meds.....and DRINK, DRINK DRINK lots of water and fluids. And you both being "workaholics"......I pray you let go of all guilt or feeling you must do something......Please, rest and allow yourself good foods, whatever you like.......and lot's of fluids.
And yes my husband and I have both been vaccinated (Moderna) first in 2021 (both shots) and then 2 boosters this year and last. We are in our late 60's.....(My husband has lung cancer but it is managed very well with immunotherapy and he has no pain at all....no pain meds)........We live here in Dallas and have been lucky enough to not get it ...YET. I am grateful to be vaccinated but respect everyone's right and choices. I think we will ALL eventually get it, and it can depend on many many factors as to WHO gets it and how bad.......Despite what some say, NO ONE really knows who will get it, how bad and whether it will have lingering effects.........take care and get well soon !

Those babies with their big eyes are wondering why mom or dad are not walking. Please please take care of yourself especially since you were already feeling so poorly. Covid on top of that let your body rest as much as you can. I could only eat toast and drink orange juice. Do not push yourself!!!! Fred I have had cracked ribs and I feel your pain. You take care of yourself too.

Eveline; I am so sorry you and Fred have covid. I had it about a month ago after escaping since the beginning and it was awful! It hit my lungs so hard and in 12 hours I went from feeling fine to being so congested I thought I was heading to the ICU for a long fight. I live in the US and in my state they are giving infusions of monoclonal antibodies with no dr. Referral. I had to wait 3 days to get in for the infusion but I felt it gave my body the strength to start fighting. I truly feel I would have ended up in the ICU without it- also a family member who had covid and was very ill for almost 7 weeks got the monoclonal antibodies the same day-- and started turning around dramatically- within two weeks was back to work! They had not heard of them before, but when I went they wanted to go as well. It did take me longer for my lungs to clear and I was put on antibiotics for a secondary lung infection. But you know how it feels when you feel you've turned around and you're fighting and you know you on on your way up---that's how it was within days after taking the monoclonal antibodies. I don't know if they're available in your country but if you could check and ask your doctor if you and Fred could have an infusion-- it could be a blessing. Here in my state (in the US) we do not need a doctor referral, we just had to call the center that was giving the infusions tell them we had covid and they scheduled us an appointment. I wish you the best, please keep us updated. I will be thinking of you and Fred.💖
Feel better soon! My daughter and I both had co*id back in December. I was sick five weeks, but I have many comorbidities. I had the cough like you do. What helped with it was I gargled three times a day with an antiseptic mouthwash. We have a very nasty one in the US named Listerene. I could tell it helped. Hope to hear youre well soon. 🌹

Dear Eveline and Family, So sorry you and Fred are feeling ill. Hope you get well soon. I had covid in January and was off work for two weeks. I was so sick I didn't eat for five days straight. It was the worst I have every felt. At least the girls haven't caught it. Hope you feel better quickly!

OMG! Get well soon you guys! Here's some irony for you. Although I'm vegan, I approve of the way you're feeding your Daxies. Do they occasionally get fish as well? My mum's 9 yr old Red Setter, Sheri, was very healthy after she started on Chappie, a fish and rain mix dog food. She lived to 12.5 yrs. ❤️
Ya, move when you can around, take some sort of inflammation Med's over the counter, rest when you can. Move around a bit. I had COVID, my symptoms were chills, high fever, fatigue, aches and severe pains in my joints, going to the bathroom for no. 2. For this I my doctor gave me antibiotic, and cough suppressant syrup that helped me to breath and sleep. It eased the pain in my lungs. As soon as m fever broke, I started to feel better. Not very fast but better. Hope your girls can cook something light for you and Fred, feed the dogs and take them out. You and Fred rest and disinfect what you can, and the girls should wear masks even though they are home. My family had to disinfect the areas they touched. It was hard but we managed. Now everybody okay.
