I was looking at the LWCG bow holder but think I will stay with the Thirdhand model. I like how you can adjust the angle on the fly, I just wish the Thirdhand folded out of the way.
You can adjust this one on the fly as well. I reach my foot down and bump it into place. It keeps the bow tight to the stand which I like, but they also make an extended version if you want it positioned farther from the platform.
Not sure if you saw our latest video but we are giving away a backpack that works great as a stand bag. We are drawing the winner this Friday so you still have time to enter.
Have you tried this on your LW Assault? Love the idea of not bringing a bow arm just as one less thing to use. Also as an added note, your idea of the molle pack on the bottom of the stand seat was pure genius.
If you do decide to get a 3 arm hanger, I would 100% recommend the 34 inch ezhanger. I’ll never use any other screw in hanger, I want to get a hanger for my climber so I won’t have to screw anything in but I have the ezhanger on all of my permanent stands
Nice review my man. I think I’m going to get heat shrink caps for mine to cleanly cover those ends. Adding additional shims makes huge difference in ease of removing. Can also hook bow in closer to riser to increase forward weight of bow and more security.
Are you running the 1.0 or the point .5? Looks like a .5. I’m running the .5, just installed it at the same location as you, makes the stand feel more cramped. Did you try installing it more froward, like just forward of where the cable bolts to the stand?
I'm running the .5. I tried to up it forward of the cable but I felt like I would be more prone to accidentally pump the bow when/if I stood up. I found that kicking it out so it's on an angle got it away from the stand a bit and Made it feel less cramped. It also allowed me to pull the bow out by the grip vs. pulling it out by the risers.

I was referring to the bow angle.
Yeah, you are pretty limited in that regard.
I just got mine not sure if ill use it i cut those hooks off soon as I took it out of the bag
I need to cut those tabs or get better heat shrink

Thanks for the video brother.
Absolutely man! I am really enjoying it. Did you get yours in the mail yet?

I have not tried it on the LW Assault, but I know people have used it with some modifications.
Seat pocket is awesome. I made a video on that and added a link to purchase one.
@@MichiganAmBushOutdoors That's where I got the idea from was your video. Mine came in and I installed it last night. Great channel!
Thank you! I appreciate the feedback.
I'm glad you found/saw the video.

I'll have to check that out. Thank you for the recommendation.
I just got the third hand I’m returning it. It’s very heavy huge and bulky
I have heard that about them. What stand are you putting it on?

I emailed LWGC about extra shims but I have heard back.
Just got one today.
Nice! I'm really happy with it.

Most annoying sound between you talking that I ever heard on a video…
Are you referring to the song choice?
