Drain tile. Oh boy. Been there done that. We always had trouble with our tile system being destroyed by the beavers and tree roots. I do understand your situation. Looks like a long stretch of tile to deal with. Wow. Better plan that one out.
Putting those tracks back on the skid loader is not easy job. Wow. Seems that should be easier that it looks.
Hats off to all of you as you got it done. Wow. Big job. Good going guys. Good teamwork.
Sure hope your ground drys soon. Really late planting this season. Can understand why you are nervous. Wow.

I feel Dougo's frustration. Some years ago I spent an entire spring and most of the summer battling a beaver family determined to plug two culverts under a single-lane road. I eventually won but what a fight. They would work on plugging the culverts at night and I would unplug them and remove the branches and debris in the morning. They finally gave up and moved a couple miles east: no longer my problem! Thanks for another great video.

You need someone with a portable pressure washer sewer jetter setup like the Drain Addict and the Penetrator on You Tube have to run up the drain tile and tear out the roots. A DC43 nozzle would clear the roots. The Aussies seem to have the best equipment because they have trees with very aggressive roots. Maybe someone in your area would be interested in starting a company to do that. I'm sure there are a lot of farmers with the same problem.

Dougo - set bait stations just about everywhere near where tree rats are active. You can make all-weather bait stations out of pvc pipe, some baseplate timber, coated wire (from the junk bin), cup hooks (even bent nails). Sling poison baits on the wire, and you should find the problem diminishing by the day. Bait stations can be used almost anywhere, the only consideration being downstream effect on animals (eg. Toby) that might eat poisoned carcasses.
