What I mean is I set the measurements to the size it needs to be but when I cut, all four corners where it should intersect do not and I have to cut it by hand, which of course looks awful.
there are micro adjustment screws on both stop blocks. use a scrap piece and keep adjusting them until you get it, and measure where they land to keep note as you have to re-adjust for different mat board thicknesses. takes some trial and error i found. if there are times where the window doesn't release in most cases because the matting wasn't cut 100% square. insert a thin blade (single blade razor is best because they're super thin and sharp) insert the blade on a 45 deg angle, press on the mat board window so it will find the proper angle and make a cut carefully.
Nice Machine. Nice explanation as to why bottom Matt trimmed smaller 👍
Thanks so much for this demo. Just learning how to use my new mat-cutter. Same model as this one!
Fantastic effort indeed !!
V good looking
How much price
Can anyone explain why after putting in correct measurements for the mat cutter it still doesn't cut the proper measurement?
