Growing up on the wet, west coast of Canada, rain has always been a familiar companion. As such I have found that the cosiest sewing days, are the days when it rains. The gentle, soothing sound of rain on the window mixed with the hum of a sewing machine is one of my favourite things.
I hope you enjoy this experience, and I would love to know if you are a lover of rain or prefer the sun?
Since there are many, many tutorials for chemises I decided to try something new with this video.

Looks just like what my grandma wore. Hers was made of heavy handwoven hemp and very stiff and scratchy, but same cut. Very lovely video and I love a rainy day to read. Thanks.

In response to your question: In general I like sunny days💚, I love to be outside with a bit of a breeze and some sun and shade and see all the beautiful things around me. On days like today though, where it has been hot for 3 days straight with a burning sun, rain is really great😃. Awesomely cooling and refreshing!

Unfortunately it’s a very sunny day today where I am, though at least it’s cool.
Also, the only problem with this lovely video is that it’s relaxed me so much that I’m now sleepy- but it’s too early for a nap 😢 😊

I think I'm like both rainy and sunny day. Sunny day and clear skies give me the drive to do my work while rainy days are perfect for when I'm cooking while having a chat with my mum. But one important thing that I learn from my that is rainy days are always perfect if you want to have a nap 😁
Thank you for this delightful addition to my day! I usually don't like the rain, but recently, I find myself hoping for it. I have no air conditioning and the rain keeps us. Bit cooler and makes the air wet like where I grew up. The additional shots of the apples and bleeding hearts were also lovely pops of color

I live in Phoenix, AZ so we do get are fair share of Sun. But my favorite days are the all day gentle rain. And then there are the Monsoon rains and when you live in a desert you are happy for what you get. I liked your video it is very peacefully. Thanks

The sound of the rain, so soothing - I find I usually don't want to do anything to loud on these days, so I usually read or knit with an open window to sit beside.
Sewing seems another great activity for that. Your chemise turned out so clean (those tiny eyelets!!) and it also looks like it could double as a comfortable nightdress in summer :D
