Isn't Arnaut e term Turks use for the Albanian people ? The reason l am asking is during my research on this Vampire legend l found out the modern name *Vampire* comes from the word *dhumpire* and apparently in Albanian language this word means drink through teeth, or also in modern term could mean teeth numbing ....
Because the smell of the menstrual blood has a high iron smell to it which doesnt smell very good. blood from punctured skin has a bitter sweet taste to it and doesnt smell horrible :P
my personal belief on vampires is that they're just a legend meant to convey a valuable lesson, but over time people have come to forget the lesson and just focus on the story alone. i don't think that vampires have never been real.. but the lesson they teach, however, is. i believe that the principle is that you have to allow a manipulative person into your life in order for them to be able to manipulate you. once you've invited them in, they'll beguile you with their words and promises even though you know that there's something wrong. while they're there, they'll leech off of you.. sucking your blood or draining your life in the way of borrowing money, eating your food, even living in your house. that's what i think, anyway.
Brother, vampires are not mythology our legends, because legends and mythologies are real historical occurrences of past events, transformed into hidden allegories and anagogical expressions,to be decrypted only by the wise and clairvoyant. Vampires are real and not grandmas tales.
Well, nearly every single culture across the world have tales about undead, bloodthirsty creatures. Who knows? They might actually exist. We still have too many things to learn about the world we live in.
unapologetic truth he’s just making a estimate, dumbass. He’s probably right if they do exist, if people turned vampire by bite, everybody in the world would be one by now.
I'm a fan of vampires with a degree in European History, so I love this type of video. One thing I never could figure our, though, is: in many movies and even 'real-life', anecdotal accounts from the distant past...how do the alleged vampires get in and out of their underground coffins every night, without ever seeming to disturb the grass and dirt under which they're buried? I know a few of the legends have them turning into mist or fog, which would allow them to slip out through the cracks in the coffin as and then the earth, but most don't. So, if the coffins are actually buried, which was already a common practice at the time of the inception of the vampire legends and lore, how do they burrow into and out of both the coffin, as well as the solid ground above them, night after night, without disturbing so much as even an earthworm in the process?
Admittedly, I was surprised that they didn't cover Alberto De Leonne's brother in law, Ramon. For the life of me, I don't recall what his last name was.
mel vaughn id imagine if vampires are real burried in a coffin 6ft down would prob fuck it over. doubt that it would be able to dig itself out much less do it w out disturbing the area.
Spontaneous Combustion. A phenomenon that is no longer discussed or remembered. Every case of people self igniting on fire, at temperatures that are considered impossible, have NEVER been solved. Only the area around the "people" burned, and always near SUNNY windows. This is one way a Vampire can die the true death. The Governments of the world know the truth about Vampires. They are keeping a secret.
When i was working in angola in 2014, i get sick in the capital, luanda...i go to the hospital waiting for a nurse! When i see two person, a guy and a woman, so white, like marble, they pass by, looking at me so intensly...They go upstairs. I go afterwards. What was my surprise when i see that there's only a door upstair and inside that room, there's only a window. The window was open, and i dont see anybody passes by me when i go up. The room was a place where they store blood in fridges and were they made blood analysis! The feeling i feel on that night, i never forget!

The thing about "vampire hysteria" is that back then, they didn't know about how after death, the body actually bloats due to a build-up of gasses. The blood on the mouth of a corpse was partially due to this (I'm about 80% sure of that, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong).
Chicken Permission really though man? as hard as it is to believe vampires were real it's also pretty had to believe that corpse bloating is a recent discovery..
I would argue that more people knew about this fact back then than now. It is really rare nowaday to see a decaying body, few ever see even a dead body. Back then death was everywhere, 1 in 5 children died before 5 years old, everybody must have seen a decaying body at least once back then.
AyZeD Actually, back then, people would see a decaying corpse and have no idea what was going on inside the body. Bloating was thought to be caused by the person fatting up from feeding on the living, blood on the lips was explained by the deceased being a vampire, the skin retracting made the hair and nails look like they were still growing. Thus, making the corpse look like it was still alive. The internal workings of the body has only been fully discovered in the past 250 years. Before the medical profession became popular, people mostly relied on the local herbalist for diagnoses and medicines. Superstition and folk lore weighed in heavily in the treatment of the patients. During the black plague, doctors thought that all illnesses were transmitted through dirty air. They had no knowledge of germs or viruses. In the 1800's, dissecting a corpse was illegal even for medical professionals. Medical students and teachers would pay grave robbers to bring in fresh cadavers for study. At one point, grave robbers realized it was just easier to murder people and bring in thier bodies for examination. Though very illegal and punishable by death of the medical professional, this was the only way to discover what we now know of the human body. So yes, Chicken Permission is correct in his statement of Vampire Mania.
"feeding on the living....thus making the corpes look like it was still alive..." are you fucking serious? People knew when someone was dead, they didnt think it was "feeding on the living", ffs where do you get that? YOuve seen a couple "vampires" video and you think it was generalised everywhere, cmon are you serious? Give some credit to our ancestor. They might not know what happened at the cellular level, but they weren't idiots. And "dirty air" bullshit, wtf anyway arent germs and virus circualting in the air when someone cough, so they werent that mistaken, no?
thank you!,thank you!,thank you! so much you made me believe in this world the are proof of vampires existence here on our planet oh man i could just kiss you right now make me the happiest woman ever!
Knowing that they exist wouldn't be satisfying to me because that opens up other questions like are alll the other mythical creatures also exist like werewolves etc.
You missed the strange story of the 'New England Vampire' in the late 19th century - an outbreak of mass hysteria directed at a sadly deceased young girl leading to the desecration of her grave and body. If I remember rightly, a lot of her neighbours came from Eastern Europe, and took their folklore with them to the New World.
Angelica Maldonado what are you writing to him that you want a reply for and the more important question, why do you feel so entitled that you are guilt tripping about not getting a reply?

Karen Saldivar that’s a rumor. There was never any proof that Vlad Tepes drank blood. It was just legend made up by the people who feared him because of his fearful war tactics of impaling the bodies of his slain enemies on large wooden stakes on the battlefield. It’s an insult to his memory but without him and the fear he inspired, we wouldn’t have the vampire legends we have today. The wooden stake killing a vampire probably also came from him impaling his enemies like he did
So many people were buried alive, back then! How tragic that they clawed their way out of the grave, only to be accused of being undead and murdered!! Happened quite a bit! If vampires truly existed, we would be over-run by them, at this point, and we would be living on "cattle farms".
That’s where we get the saying “saved by the bell” because so many were buried alive they started tying strings to the little finger of the dead and tying the other end to a bell that was set up on top of the grave so that if they woke up and moved their hand the bell would ring and someone would come dig them up
Love creepy videos/stories like this. Always been intrigued by things like this since I was a kid.. I even asked my dad to tell me the same scary bedtime story every night when I was around 4 or 5 haha 😈☻ also love the British accent🙂
james cottrell it's still up for debate what actually happened. It's more likely that the servants died due to the brutality nobles forced on their servants at the time (i.e. Whipping someone to death for broken china). After her husbands death the crown owed her family tons of money, it's more likely they came up with an outrageous story to persecute her as a witch or monster to avoid paying back the coin while obtaining their estates.
Dracula was inspired by the term bloodthirsty a writer heard and comprised the novel. Bit he was known as Vlad The Impaled. Because he would impale the bodies of his enemies on spikes around his castle to share off enemies!
You didn't mentioned Jure Grando, istrian vampire (Istria, peninsula on north Adriatic sea, Croatia) who was terrorizing his villagers for 16 years, from 1656 when he was burried till 1672 when one priest and 9 villagers open his grave and cut off his head because they didn't succed with hawthorne stake, skin was too hard.
Nice video! Love the “old world” vampire legends…so much creepier and more disturbing than the contemporary versions of sad, lovelorn, sexy, clad in black leather etc etc. vampires are horrific undead blood drinking corpses and there’s good reason they frighten us on such a primal level. the visuals you used are fantastic as well. Truly sets a mood!
Lack of access to knowledge. They had to use their imaginations and what they had knowledge of. It is interesting though to think of living that long ago, and how you would see the world.
Whenever I hear the word vampires I forget about everything around and me want to know more and more about them. Day and night, I always think about them, search more and more about them, like there's something in my life which is incomplete after having everything though and I feel so attracted and attached towards them and I really really want to become one. If a vampire is reading my comment please reply me Thanks
PM me if you want some info. What I'll tell you now though is that the reason why people drink blood is because it makes you live longer and makes you feel euphoric. The younger the victim the better the buzz and the more effect it has on maintaining your youth.
If you guys are interested in Elizabeth Bathory than you should watch the movie "Stay Alive". I ain't spoiling nothing but I really liked it and I highly recommend you watch it.
Extremely interesting video. These stories are always fascinating to hear all these years later. Even though most of them could be easily explained now, doesn't make them any less creepy for the people involved at the time.
Elizabeth Báthory was a victim of a show trial, and never got convicted. After her husband died in 1604, she became the wealthiest noble in the Hungarian Kingdom (what was partly occupied by the Ottoman Empire at that time). Mathias II, the Habsburg ruler started the show trial against her, but no judgment was given, and she died in pre-trial detention 4 years later. One mystery has been solved ;)

I’m a vampire in Galveston, Texas. I don’t want to say too much more. I’ve been a vampire since 1824. I’ve seen civil war soldiers and so much history up close. I found caves helpful as I could easily wake up during the “day” because of the sound traps I perfected. I’ve only met a handful of vampires and I wonder how many we are. With the internet shopping has become so easy. I write history blogs for money these past 15 years. I’m a nice guy and have only …. Anyway, it can be very lonely. Sure I’ve had many dates but long term relationships are very difficult. Online relationships are easier but they have to be only a few hours drive. I had car trouble once and it was tricky finding dark shelter before morning. I’m very sensitive to light but on very cloudy days I can handle being outside in the daylight for maybe 5 minutes. HIV was dangerous so I feasted mainly on the young and very old. I’ve been able to become fluid in five languages since I’ve had almost 200 years to study.
Vlad the Impaler was stabbed in the back by the Western nations that should have aided him in fighting the Turks to keep them from coming into his nation. Vlad was a tough mother fucker but the Europeans were too pussy to take on the Turks and so forth.
He was the Voivode(ruler) of Vlachia. His father,Vlad II,was a member of the Order of the Dragon,an chivalric order founded by the German emperor(and Hungarian king)Sigismund. That's why he earned the nickname ''Dracula'',which means ''son of the dragon''. Vlad wasn't associated with vampirism untill much later, when Bram Stoker featured him as the titular villain of his book.Besides that,Vlad had a reputation of a brilliant tactician but also of a cruel ruler that was ruthlessly killing the nobles of his country and any muslim(hostile or not)he encountered. He also used guerrilla tactics against the Ottomans which consisted mostly of raids, usually at night. At such a raid,he came close to kill the Sultan himself.Perharps these nightly attacks and his brutality(which off course has been exaggerated)gave him the haunting aura he has today.
The whole thing is a load of made up bullshit so I would not dwell on the accuracy just because Bathory was a real person ....This is like arguing why is Dracula not at no.1 on the list.

Why don't vamps just get a girlfriend and feed on her once a month.
WILLY LYNCH because we eat every day
Ahhh nooooo
Well maybe
BleuHãwaii I almost made a silly joke because of you haha
WILLY LYNCH: Maybe most of them aren't ready to get their *Red Wings.*
Interesting theory! Makes sense!!!
It's not like that at all
Brother, vampires are not mythology our legends, because legends and mythologies are real historical occurrences of past events, transformed into hidden allegories and anagogical expressions,to be decrypted only by the wise and clairvoyant. Vampires are real and not grandmas tales.
so women?
You think wonderfully

Lol I don't know why I found this to be funny
I think vamps are real but rare like 12 to 30 in the whole world
Brian Johnson so they are in fact ancient powerful creatures impossible to locate or destroy given their age too. That's gooood!
Brian, how old are you? Grow up
unapologetic truth what an idiot...FoxNews clearly said there is 19 vampires!
For the life of me, I don't recall what his last name was.
mel vaughn Mist
mel vaughn id imagine if vampires are real burried in a coffin 6ft down would prob fuck it over. doubt that it would be able to dig itself out much less do it w out disturbing the area.
mel vaughn. They do it like Beatrice Kiddo in Kill Bill Volume 2.

I love these types of videos🤔😀especially about vampires and werewolves♥👌
@Jah yes yes😂😂😂
Werewolves are true they are known as Dog-men that reside in the Deep Woods and Forests mostly around the World -
Check out William schnoebelen. He used to be a vampire he says that level 8 of Satanism is a fork of either become a vampire or a werewolf

Great video, cases of alleged vampirism is such an interesting topic.
Agreed I always believe that there is a grain of truth to every legend.
LoL.
we have all had a girlfriend like that at some point !
Alleged? This use to be common in my country until the advent of Christianity. Don't joke with things you wouldn't wish to happen to you. There are powers beyond any science can ever elucidate.
and its nearly Halloween !!!!
Easy, 'alleged' is no insult.
I love the history of the paranormal and horror. Origins of legends and folklore.

What a boomer kind of joke
Vampires...#gays
You could be way more right then you known
Chicken Permission You must be a huge Rob Dyke fan. I use Chicken Permission as my everyday fragrance.
And "dirty air" bullshit, wtf anyway arent germs and virus circualting in the air when someone cough, so they werent that mistaken, no?
so the victims claimed to have a dream about dude after being dead. He probably got pissed cuz everyone buried him alive.

existence here on our planet oh man i could just kiss you right now make me the happiest woman ever!
I am always fascinated with Vampires. Not that i wanna see one, but to know that they actually exist.. that alone satisfies me.
Knowing that they exist wouldn't be satisfying to me because that opens up other questions like are alll the other mythical creatures also exist like werewolves etc.
I believe they exist in the sadistic mortal sense, but not in the supernatural sense.
You spelled terrifies me wrong 😉

You missed the strange story of the 'New England Vampire' in the late 19th century - an outbreak of mass hysteria directed at a sadly deceased young girl leading to the desecration of her grave and body. If I remember rightly, a lot of her neighbours came from Eastern Europe, and took their folklore with them to the New World.

A black cat jumps on my bed every morning and I know its bad luck because the little shit bites my toes until I get up and feed him.
but Dracula is not fictional. his name was Vlad tepes a Transylvanian Barron, then part of Hungary now part of Romania
Tímea Tarjányi Part of Hungary? Always was part of Romania!
Yes it was real at least he really drank blood.Anything is possible really
He's based off Vlad the impailer
Karen Saldivar that’s a rumor. There was never any proof that Vlad Tepes drank blood. It was just legend made up by the people who feared him because of his fearful war tactics of impaling the bodies of his slain enemies on large wooden stakes on the battlefield. It’s an insult to his memory but without him and the fear he inspired, we wouldn’t have the vampire legends we have today. The wooden stake killing a vampire probably also came from him impaling his enemies like he did
It was a crazy wife of his. Look it up.
almost at 100k congratulations man keep up the good work!! :-)

So many people were buried alive, back then! How tragic that they clawed their way out of the grave, only to be accused of being undead and murdered!! Happened quite a bit! If vampires truly existed, we would be over-run by them, at this point, and we would be living on "cattle farms".
Angela Gautreaux Barnes Check out "Seraphin of the end" anime, it's pretty much what you described, alongside being a very good anime.
Ferid Bathory best character
That’s where we get the saying “saved by the bell” because so many were buried alive they started tying strings to the little finger of the dead and tying the other end to a bell that was set up on top of the grave so that if they woke up and moved their hand the bell would ring and someone would come dig them up
Jennifer Koch they describe this in the movie ‘the nun’ aswell. Quite interesting
+Jennifer Koch i thought it had to do with being to class before the Bell rang. Saved by the Bell
Vampire don't exist.... thanks to the Winchester brothers!
From the vampire diaries???

Love creepy videos/stories like this. Always been intrigued by things like this since I was a kid.. I even asked my dad to tell me the same scary bedtime story every night when I was around 4 or 5 haha 😈☻ also love the British accent🙂
I haven’t watched the vid yet but I guarantee Elizabeth Bathory is on this list.
Tom Guy Not many people know about the Countess. 500 young women died because of her...Rich people are crazy..lol.
james cottrell it's still up for debate what actually happened.
Tom Guy she was my mother
they still are today.
Very good, that is a great theory.
Your voice is too soothing and nice, I can't feel the rush of fear I usually feel in a Vampire tale
I literally googled ‘beauty standards over the past 100 years’ and this came up.

Lmao
Bahhahaha
Love this guys voice, should do bedtime stories. Very relaxing.
His voice is so sexy.
I love the "actual" aspect of this. I hate the fabricated idea of modern vampires.
Love watching shit like this while having a joint 😂😂
Dracula (the Dragon) was a hero, my hero, romanian hero!
Vlad the impaler?
He was quite good at defending his country.
Dracula was inspired by the term bloodthirsty a writer heard and comprised the novel. Bit he was known as Vlad The Impaled. Because he would impale the bodies of his enemies on spikes around his castle to share off enemies!
Its actually son of the dragon .his father dracul was the dragon
I LOVE the Dark Souls 3 image in the begining. Cemetary of Ash
Keep up the good work!
The Dark Lord
I've read about the Croglin Grange vampire from several books, as well as heard the story on an episode of Coast to Coast A.M.
i would love to know how these myths arose. its amazing the things the human mind make up when fear is at an extreme.
If a vampire is reading my comment please reply me
Thanks

@@ayooalexx1209 spoken like a vampire trying to make his existence seem like a myth 🤔🤔
PM me if you want some info. What I'll tell you now though is that the reason why people drink blood is because it makes you live longer and makes you feel euphoric. The younger the victim the better the buzz and the more effect it has on maintaining your youth.

Peter Pocz how has it been solved? Howd she die?
@@madhatter5665 How did the prisoners die in the Bastille, the Tower or other cells in various places? How did those people die whom doesn't get enough sunlight to get vitamin D? Or those who suffer from the bad conditions in the prison cells? How does that person die who is walled into a little room and can't see the sun, can't move enough, can't get enough warm for her body, can't clean herself, and can't even separate herself from her own stool. She died slowly but surely weakened by deficiency diseases, and killed by some kind of infection. Sorry, I can't tell you more, because her killers wasn't interested in a proper autopsy, and such thing doesn't even existed back than, they were only interested to get the wealth of her. she didn't diverse that faith, killed by the jealousy and greed of her own ruler

lifelessdead89 I do listen to videos when I'm driving tho, usually it's on autoplay so it just goes thru on it's own...because these are the kind of videos where it's the audio that's the main part and not something to watch necessarily, I do do that lol. I'm a good driver tho and safe (no speeding, etc.) So I feel comfortable and confident in with it...now say I was driving on the highway doing 70mph, no I don't even have my phone in my hand

What about Vlad the Impaler?
Charlie McNeilson deacula is based on him, count dracul
Vlad the Impaler was stabbed in the back by the Western nations that should have aided him in fighting the Turks to keep them from coming into his nation. Vlad was a tough mother fucker but the Europeans were too pussy to take on the Turks and so forth.
He was Real called Clad the impaler...... he really did impale his enemies on spikes in front of his castle. Really gross. Look up his history. Yuck.
How about bathory
Elizabeth Bathory was not a vampire. She was a serial killer. Good vid, otherwise. Keep it up.
