The legend says that you can see Lucy's ghost at 0:16
The legend is true
I thought it was my phone flickering.
Legend says that*
Yes..😱
@@ILoveMaths07 english isn't my first language :/
1. When the weather is *drizzly* , the sky is dull and grey and it rains steadily but not very hard.
2. *Blustery* weather is rough, windy, and often rainy, with the wind often changing in strength or direction.
3. *Blistering* heat is very great heat.
4. *Biting* wind or cold is extremely cold.
5. If it is *overcast* , or if the sky or the day is *overcast* , the sky is completely covered with cloud and there is not much light. / meteorology (of the sky): more than 95 per cent cloud-covered
Thanks for the explanation, it makes it easier to really understand the difference when you want to start using synonyms.
Thank you for busting Lucy's content❤
😂😂😂
Rainy - Showery
Windy - Squally
Hot - Sultry
Cold - Frosty
Cloudy - hazy
Hot=humid
Ok 👍
Hot does not have to equal humid. Dry heat is different from wet heat.
Thanks a bunch!!!
You help us a lot with English ❤
Seriously never heard of them and I have been here in UK for 10years. I have heard "boiling" hot and people saying "I'm boiling in this weather/heat" and of course various other colorful descriptions ;)
For "hot", you could also use "sultry".
"It was a sultry day, good only for lounging around under a sunshade."
As a result of this lesson, I feel like working as a weather ☁️ forecast specialist. Thanks Lucy.
I love and respect English, especially the Queen. Thanks for sharing.
‘Drizzle’ is the most beautiful word in the English language.

As someone from oregon, drizzling is a subset of rain and should be kept separate from pouring, splashing, spitting, falling, and tapping
Love these videos!
Blistering Cold 🥶🤣🤣🤣
Very nice thank you
Thanks a lot ❤❤😊
Nobody says blistering or biting in Britain!
They will say it is scorching or sweltering for hot. For very cold they will simply say it is freezing or occasionally “icy cold”.
Whilst we do say drizzly for rainy, this is only for light rain. For heavy rain we’re more likely to say “it’s torrential out there”; “it’s raining cats and dogs” or “it’s pissing down”.
Dear non British speakers please don’t believe everything you’re told.
Really good to hear such a great presentation of pronunciation of English words as this from a English speaker….
Thank you ma'am
Just the thought of you brightens my afternoon, without you my coffee is useless.

I'm British and I've never heard any of these advanced ways being used in my life-
I am wheezing
That's problem cuz I'm not a native and take them at their word
Same
I know, right? To the matter of fact, I get occasionally funny faces beamed at me if try to talk in that kind of manner when I am in a tricksy mood. lol
Seriously? I use these words also it's pissing down, overcast and it's biting cold is pretty common, but hey ho
I’ve heard only biting
Thanks 😊
Thanks again..
Thanks you
Thank you
Just use the red words. I’ve never heard anyone say any of these words in real life, except drizzling, which means it’s only raining a little.
but it's necessary to use those words for good results on some kind of exams
I'm English I've used its blistering, drizzly, overcast and blustery often.
overcast is used often, blistering is used in hyperboles, and for bad weather, we use "dismal".
@@maxlee2907 Yes we use that the most lol
mind your own business lol, most of the native english speakers use these words to describe the weather and I believe most people do too💀
Thanks for describing the weather.
