No, I don't really hear any difference between the EQ's. I choose a EQ based on feel and presets. That is why I use the stock EQ and the Renaissance EQ.
Renaissance EQ is a WAVES plugin.
hello! thanks for the very useful demonstration. may I ask at the very end ( around 10') how to get the Fade-in, out ramp line? ( what mode etc.....)
If you highlight the area you want faded in or out then hold command and press F then you have several options of fades to use.

Yes panning is for all tracks. And mutes are on the track itself. You can click the M to mute or to automate click the part that says waveform and change it to mutes. that way you can draw in the mute automation.
Yeah you can set the grid in small subdivision like 16th notes, 32 notes or 64th notes so you can get that fast stutter if wanted. As long as the tempo is correct it will work good.

@@Atmsleez you can automate the EQ to be in specific spots. Make sure the read button is on so it reads what you do

I did this panning effect on vocals for song using a pair of m audio av40 monitors without an audio interface and it sounds great!. but when i listened to it on Yamaha hs7 monitors I can barely hear it. do you know why this is happening.The hs7 monitors I hooked it up straight to the computer with no audio interface. I idk if that has something to do with it? do you know why I can barely hear the panning effect on the hs7 monitors?. thanks for your help
How did you hook them up without a interface?
I hooked them up with Livewire 3.5mm-Dual 1/4" Y Cable 3 ft. I figured out why I couldn't hear the rapid panning, my laptop screen was blocking the 7 inch woofer. But i would still like the panning to be a little more pronounced in the mix. Do you know what I can do to make that happen?

I'm not sure how to do as much editing in Studio One. I would have to figure it out first.
Raw Technique Studios I figured it out. You can use Izotope Vinyl or Waves Abby Road Vinyl. Studio One doesn't have a dedicated plugin. They have one called sample rate but it's a hassle to use for this effect.

If my transients aren't right on where I need to be to get the sound I want to be "soloed " what do I do RAW? Everytime I try to make a cut on the beat that is mapped out to the grid it makes me do multiple taps on the tab button that are un even taps unlike u did. You did 2 taps consistently my taps are 2 then 3 than 1. which doesn't sound organic. can you help a brother out???
+Mynameis SPKZ Are you tabbing to transient or selecting the grid? Make sure tab to transient button is blue then when you are on the beat track and you press tab it will jump to the next transient. Some beats with have more transient information so you need to find the down beat or up beat you are truing to cut.
Tab to transient button is defiantly on. Are you saying you can't just cut anywhere?
You can but to make it sound on beat I always cut the beats themselves. So if its kick, snare, kick , snare then I would cut for example the kick and hold the cut until the next kick comes in so the cut is right on beat and still in tempo with the song.

Yeah you can do it in any DAW. Drops and cutting a kick then placing it in a rhythmic pattern can be done in Logic for sure. Make sure you are on the grid when you do it so you stay in time.
