    I plant the sun chokes tuber for shade for the chickens.

      Shade is good but I find they won’t leave the shade to go get water. But if water is close they’ll drink.

      I love your style man. Good videos. Thank you. If those wooden pallets are their shade you could use those chicken nipples that drip water on the bottom of a tank that is on the roof or side of the shelter. So what I am saying is incorporate your water system into the shade structure itself maybe as one in many possible solutions. I do not like the idea of BPA kind of plastic getting into the water for my birds. Not sure if water fed into PVC pipes that have chicken water nipples is a solution for a toxic free environment, so mostly so far I have used the bell shape metal waterer for the birds. I would put that inside shelters of wooden pallets.

      Wood pallet fence is not portable, I’m always moving the chickens

    this is how to make a wood pallet fence can be a shade structure with a water pipe or hose inside it that feeds water to chicken dripper nipples.

      I use old pallets for shade already but I still put out extra water because the chickens won’t leave the shade to get water in the tractor
