Thanks for the video it is so useful for those candidate who unable to complete versant test. I'm also one of the candidate in that it's so useful for me .😊
Tomorrow I have a test in a call center interview I don’t really know if this is the test type but I’m trying to be careful and study in any situation is this the case, can you give me tips to pass this exam tomorrow? Thank you.
You shouldn't run a sprint before a marathon. In the same way, you shouldn't tire yourself with worry on the day of your test. You have studied and you will do your best if you are calm. Good luck!
These questions won't be exactly the same as the real exam because the test is secured. However, we model them as close as possible to the original exam.
do we really get to listen to the recordings just once? (except for the last part) i find this really tough, but i think if i practice more i can do it. this is my first time watching a video guide for this assessment, i learned a lot so thank you so much!
Yes, it is only once. That's because when you're on the phone with a customer, they ideally should only say their request once. It's a little bit rude if you ask them to repeat themselves on many occasions. So I guess you will need to get used to this aspect of the exam. Keep studying and good luck!
Thank you for this vedio I have a problem with the section B, when I hear the sentence I can't remember the whole of it, specially when the sentence is long How can I overcome it ?
If you remember at least the key words and have a good enough comprehension of English, you will remember all of the sentence. Candidates usually make mistakes on verb tense, singulars and plurals, and articles on this part of the test. So for example, your sentence is: We were told to report to John's office on Monday for the meeting about the annual budget. From this you should be able to remember: John's office, Monday meeting, and annual budget. Then your knowledge of English would help you remember the rest. We appreciate getting this kind of feedback and hope to post a separate video on "repeat the sentence" to our Versant playlist soon. Please check back to our channel in a couple of weeks. Thanks!
You are given a laminated sheet of paper with a marker. The idea is that you can wipe the sheet of paper clean after you've made some notes. So you can take notes during the questions. However some students have commented that the quality of this paper is very poor and so it's very difficult to take notes. Sorry about this but good luck with your test.
Yes, they are changing the test so it will include a listening part. We are hoping to have a new video up on this soon. Please subscribe and select notifications to get news about this. Thanks and good luck!
We will do a separate video on the listen and repeat section soon. For now, here is some advice to help you. Tip 1: Focus mostly on the nouns in the sentence when you try to repeat it. Here's an example. The first sentence in part B is: "University graduates in science usually have good employment options." So, you should remember the ideas of graduates, science, and employment. Tip 2: The first and last words in the sentence are usually the most important. Here is the second sentence in part B: "The situation was very difficult, and tense with conflict." If you can remember the words "situation" and "conflict" hopefully you can remember the rest of the sentence. Keep studying hard and it will come more naturally to you. Good luck!
The questions are from our book: mybook.to/aXDz9d For many questions you will be provided with 2 possible answers, so you will have a 50% chance of being correct for those questions. For other questions, you need to rely on your own skills and understanding, so the chance is not easy to determine. Good luck!
Yes, this is the old exam format. We will be putting up a new video in the format of the new exam in the next two weeks. Please subscribe and sign up for notifications. Thanks!

Are we allowed to take notes for the story retelling questions? Just single words for example.
