  • Soil microbiologist, Walter Jehne, presenting for Urban Agriculture Australia in September 2013, talks about the fundamental link between soil health and human health. He explains why our food production practices need look after soil microbiology (especially fungi) to ensure that plants, animals, and ultimately humans, receive the right amounts and ratios of mineral nutrients. This is not occurring in the majority of 'industrial agriculture' which provides our food today.
Think about growing your own food or buying it from sources that look after their soil health. Support our farmers to use regenerative practices that look after the soil, environment and the food and fibre they produce for us.

Enjoyed this, concise and clear, but loved the aussie birds as sound effects!
