Sorry, I'm going to be that guy but it's "Sawney" not "Swaney" . Sawney is a Scottish nickname for Alexander. However, great review and I agree, brutal book but definitely worth a read.
@@hujands hi! Thank-you for paying attention! I read it as Sawney the whole time too! I didn't notice I constantly misspoke untill it was too late. I didn't realize it was a nickname. Thanks for that.
WOW! First time viewer (the algorithm sent me your way), and now I *need* to score this to read; your review sold me (and I look forward to checking out more of your channel). BTW, the Beane family was the inspiration for Wes Craven''s awesome (IMHO) The Hills Have Eyes (1977). Speaking of horror flicks, equally as low-budget, gory, and insane is the 1964 movie The Flesh Eaters (about microscopic critters that devour humans) [and this movie inspired the Los Angeles band of the same name]--also worth a look. Thank you! (and happy Thanksgiving!)

Thank you, I didn't know these books.
I definitely going to take a look at them.

I've seen this cover but hadn't heard much about it. Sounds great!
@@BadTasteBooks oh yeah!? It is over the top.
Sounds interesting, I hope I come across it someday.
@@StewedEarth I hope you do! It's a blast
I was think about picking up the e book and this review is pretty makes me think I will sooner than later.
@@stephennootens916 nice. I hope you do. I thought it was great!
Oh wow that sounds gnarly. I'm not into the cannibal thing at all but my wife loves that stuff. I'm going to have to track down a copy for her.
@@TheBookGraveyard Good man. I hope you find one for her. If she likes cannibals, this won't disappoint.
