That was great! Thanks for sharing. We were in Bryce last Fall. It is sooo beautiful. Video and pictures cannot convey the awe and beauty of the Park. It should be on everyone's bucket list. Howard is definitely not a cowboy. 🤠
It's definitely a very gorgeous place! The hoodoos are so intricately carved by time and nature, they almost look human-made at times. It's becoming more popular in recent years though, even pretty crowded at times, so it's not really as much of an off-the-beaten-path destination as it used to be.
Amazing! I know the mules have it down and have better stability with those four legs, but they can be so stubborn - glad they are well-behaved ones! 🤣
We❤❤❤ Bryce Canyon. We stayed at Ruby's Camp ground last year. Thanks for the tip about the park tour. Didn't know about the Grand Stair case or the mule rides. Guess we must return. 😂
Such an amazing and beautiful park. Actually stunning. Riding the trails with the horses and mules looked like so much fun. Howard didn’t almost fall off,he was just readjusting his saddle 😅.Bravo to the both of you for all the tough hiking. Thank you for this gorgeous video. Big hugs to the puppies ❤️❤️🇨🇦
The first time i visited was right after Christmas several years ago. We walked a little off the road trying to get the good picture and sank to our waist in snow.
Your having an amazing trip. Don’t forget the other properties in the National Park system. We have been full time for about 2 years and have been to 14 National Parks but we have also been to a total of 47 National Park properties. There are some pretty amazing places out there
At this exact moment, we are sitting in our camper at Ruby's Campground watching the video you posted seven hours ago! We just finished the Queen's Trail Hike. Prior to that, we did the scenic drive. Tomorrow morning we do the horseback ride into the canyon. And we got a good laugh at the end of the video when you went to Ruby's buffet since we were sitting here a moment ago trying to ration out our food supply to get us through Bryce, Zion, and the Grand Canyon over the next few days. We look forward to your Capitol Reef video as we were there yesterday and I just finished off the last of the fruit pies!
WOW, William, that sounds incredible! I'm guessing it had to be just outside of the park, right? I know with Grand Canyon, the helicopter tours travel over parts of the neighboring reservation since the park doesn't allow fly overs.
Hi you two! Geeze…another WOW moment video. Bryce is such a beautiful place, thank you so much for showing me where I hiked down into the hoodoo canyon (as a young adult!). I remember it just like yesterday, and your expertise in videography and excellent narration brought it all back to me! I’m truly grateful to you for “being there” and allowing us to relive my trips there…I have so many visits to make in our “Lucy” Navion, and return trips, I just hope I have enough years left to actually DO them! Keep goin’ kids, see all that you can see, and do NOT put-off anything before you just can’t do it anymore. We got home from a Norway and British Isles three week land/cruise vacation on 5/29…it was absolutely wonderful, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to do trips like that for very much longer! As-always, please take care, Love ti you both, Virginia ❤️
We’ve been following along with your National Park journey so far and we absolutely LOVE IT! We are living on Mount Desert Island next to Acadia for the next few months, and we hope we’ll run into you at the park! ⛰️😊
Hi I visited this park March 2021, I did get Boht 20 miles of trail hiking in. There was snow and very cold, below freezing. Rainbow had so much snow around the top. Yes clockwise is what ivadvise too. The horses and mules were not there at that time. What was the dates you were at the park? Thanks always entertaining. I just got back from 15 days in Alaska, went to 5 NPs Amazing
Nice review of Bryce such a unique place. We were there at a similar time this spring and seeing the snow in the canyon was so cool. We were unable to score a campsite in the Park so we hit Ruby’s and got into there overflow. So fun to follow your NP adventures
Love this park! I’ve been so excited to see your video and it did not disappoint! I went last year for the first time but only saw it from the overlooks. I wanted to see what it was like from the trails you showed! Now I have the trails on my bucket list, thanks so much for sharing! Loved seeing the part on Ruby’s Inn as we stayed there and loved it. Hope to visit the campgrounds in the future. Can’t wait to see next week’s video!
Lol, I've ridden horses dozens of times, first time nearly falling off trying to get ON! 😅 We're so happy to finally get to check the Mighty Five parks off our list, after passing them so many times! Also, I would pay to see you ride a bull. 😂 -Howard
If you apply with enough lead time, you should be fine! Even though a lot more people are now aware of them, the law/rules have been around for over 20 years. There are bills in Congress that could finally update the law for modern social media, but never a guarantee!

I'm sorry Howard, but I LOL when you were climbing on that horse! Park is beautiful!
🤣 don't worry, we laughed SO many times editing the video together. It really is a beautiful place! 😍

Love Bryce Canyon! The winter snow on the hoodoos, is an amazing experience. Thanks.
Bryce is very underrated. Love both Zion and Bryce.

we did a helicopter tour of bryce, took us up close, the chopper had three seats, so my wife and i and the pilot, nice tour.

Absolutely gorgeous!! I am putting in on my list for sure! ❤❤
Wow you guys really provide inspiration. We are excited to explore these areas and need to rewatch and make a list. THANK YOUso much for sharing.

Amazing
I was there in 2013 at that time it was a STATE park 2,600 miles in 2 wks on our harleys motor sport plus Kingston ontario

That was beautiful and fun. Love watching you guys. You make great videos, love them.
All good stuff! Thanks! 😊

Cowboy 🤠 up Howard, Cowboy up 👍🏼😂
Great park and Utah has so many great parks. If they got s big horse maybe I can catch a ride. Or maybe a bull 😂

Hi guys Bryce looks so awesome I am going this fall can't wait. What month were you there seems like a lot of snow.
We will be there early June. Will there still be snow?
what time of year was this im trying to plan mine and avoid this amount of snow
Your 3 hour tour should be safe, I don't see the Skipper or Gilligan around. lol
hard time getting past all the mule/horse droppings on the trail
How long did it take you to get a permit cleared to film in Bryce?
Hi! It took almost a month. Each park usually lists the required lead times (they vary) on their website for submitting your application.
@@NewstateNomads Thanks. We applied and are waiting. Too bad for all these new rules making it tough on simple UA-camrs. 😀
If you apply with enough lead time, you should be fine! Even though a lot more people are now aware of them, the law/rules have been around for over 20 years. There are bills in Congress that could finally update the law for modern social media, but never a guarantee!
@@NewstateNomads Thanks. It took a little over a week. $150 total. ☹️
Just your normal brilliant videos, i want your job lol
Love your videos, but please slow down, it’s like your speed talking.
Steven, appreciate the feedback! We'll take a look at this episode and see if we're speaking any faster vs other recent episodes. 👍 -Howard
I don’t get that.
The poor natives that lost their home.
Freezes and thaws, climate changes?
Yep, it's the freezing and thawing (particularly in the spring and fall when it happens almost daily) that creates these amazing rock formations!
