    That was great! Thanks for sharing. We were in Bryce last Fall. It is sooo beautiful. Video and pictures cannot convey the awe and beauty of the Park. It should be on everyone's bucket list.
    Howard is definitely not a cowboy. 🤠

    It's definitely a very gorgeous place! The hoodoos are so intricately carved by time and nature, they almost look human-made at times. It's becoming more popular in recent years though, even pretty crowded at times, so it's not really as much of an off-the-beaten-path destination as it used to be.

    Amazing! I know the mules have it down and have better stability with those four legs, but they can be so stubborn - glad they are well-behaved ones! 🤣

    Your having an amazing trip. Don’t forget the other properties in the National Park system. We have been full time for about 2 years and have been to 14 National Parks but we have also been to a total of 47 National Park properties. There are some pretty amazing places out there

    At this exact moment, we are sitting in our camper at Ruby's Campground watching the video you posted seven hours ago! We just finished the Queen's Trail Hike. Prior to that, we did the scenic drive. Tomorrow morning we do the horseback ride into the canyon. And we got a good laugh at the end of the video when you went to Ruby's buffet since we were sitting here a moment ago trying to ration out our food supply to get us through Bryce, Zion, and the Grand Canyon over the next few days. We look forward to your Capitol Reef video as we were there yesterday and I just finished off the last of the fruit pies!

      WOW, William, that sounds incredible! I'm guessing it had to be just outside of the park, right? I know with Grand Canyon, the helicopter tours travel over parts of the neighboring reservation since the park doesn't allow fly overs.

    Hi you two! Geeze…another WOW moment video. Bryce is such a beautiful place, thank you so much for showing me where I hiked down into the hoodoo canyon (as a young adult!). I remember it just like yesterday, and your expertise in videography and excellent narration brought it all back to me! I’m truly grateful to you for “being there” and allowing us to relive my trips there…I have so many visits to make in our “Lucy” Navion, and return trips, I just hope I have enough years left to actually DO them! Keep goin’ kids, see all that you can see, and do NOT put-off anything before you just can’t do it anymore. We got home from a Norway and British Isles three week land/cruise vacation on 5/29…it was absolutely wonderful, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to do trips like that for very much longer! As-always, please take care, Love ti you both, Virginia ❤️

    Hi
    I visited this park March 2021, I did get Boht 20 miles of trail hiking in. There was snow and very cold, below freezing. Rainbow had so much snow around the top. Yes clockwise is what ivadvise too. The horses and mules were not there at that time. What was the dates you were at the park?
    Thanks always entertaining.
    I just got back from 15 days in Alaska, went to 5 NPs

    Nice review of Bryce such a unique place. We were there at a similar time this spring and seeing the snow in the canyon was so cool. We were unable to score a campsite in the Park so we hit Ruby’s and got into there overflow. So fun to follow your NP adventures

    Love this park! I’ve been so excited to see your video and it did not disappoint! I went last year for the first time but only saw it from the overlooks. I wanted to see what it was like from the trails you showed! Now I have the trails on my bucket list, thanks so much for sharing! Loved seeing the part on Ruby’s Inn as we stayed there and loved it. Hope to visit the campgrounds in the future. Can’t wait to see next week’s video!

    How long did it take you to get a permit cleared to film in Bryce?

    • @NewstateNomads
      @NewstateNomads  5 місяців тому

      Hi! It took almost a month. Each park usually lists the required lead times (they vary) on their website for submitting your application.

    • @RoadtrippinwithTakacs
      @RoadtrippinwithTakacs 5 місяців тому

      @@NewstateNomads Thanks. We applied and are waiting. Too bad for all these new rules making it tough on simple UA-camrs. 😀

    • @NewstateNomads
      @NewstateNomads  4 місяці тому

      If you apply with enough lead time, you should be fine! Even though a lot more people are now aware of them, the law/rules have been around for over 20 years. There are bills in Congress that could finally update the law for modern social media, but never a guarantee!

      @NewstateNomads  Рік тому

      Yep, it's the freezing and thawing (particularly in the spring and fall when it happens almost daily) that creates these amazing rock formations!
