Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has pushed Europe into a period of reordering across the continent. European governments and the European Union have began to develop policies to respond to this shift and historical moment.
In Richard Youngs' new book, "Geoliberal Europe and the Test of War," he outlines the issues and choices European governments are forced to consider in this process of reordering. Ultimately, Youngs argues that geoliberalism has emerged to guide Europe through the new. fragile order that has arisen in the midst of the Ukraine war.
