@@-Katastropheyes some places was literally uninhabitable from the beginning,but the water was covering 5 story buildings and its a coast city , basically the sea moved to the city , what infe structure is supposed to handle that ! I saw a story from someone who survived saying he kept running upstairs and the water kept rising until he got to the 7TH FLOOR !!
Still libya’s government to be blamed bc they knew this was going to happen and they had all the time in the world to evacuate the area and they did nothing!! Its so bad that the shores are spitting out 100’s of dead bodies everyday! They ran out of body bags thats how un prepared they were.

Seriously. The beginning of September was hotter than it was any time in July, the supposed hottest month in the history of the universe.
Blistering winds would be if it was a blizzard and your skin was in danger of freezing and blistering due to them. I don’t think this counts as blistering winds.

I was in cape cod last month and fell asleep on the beach after forgetting to put sun screen on my legs. It was a horror show for 2 weeks after. Thank you cape cod! I’ll be back.

You're not exaggerating about 6 years ago my friend lives on the east coast of Florida And went to the beach to go fishing the tropical storm was approaching and the weather channel was out there reporter was standing on the beach in a raincoat he was wet they had a black backdrop behind him he was saying how bad it was there it hadn't even rained!! how did he get wet they also put a camera on a damaged piling but my friend said that was like that forever
@tomrizzo1554 That's crazy.. I've seen footage of news people exaggerating storms, like one guy standing in a hole so the water looked like it was waist deep from the camera shot. Then, in the backround, a guy walks by and it's like an inch..lol

Here is eastern Pennsylvania it's in the mid 60's with drizzling rain and overcast ☁️ skies. Nothing too dramatic. As a pluviophile, I do enjoy a good storm though.

Living near the ocean and complaining about hurricanes is like me Living in between arctic cat and Polaris industries complaining about the-42 actual air temperatures with-70s below windchills, and the snow storms when it warms up in the winter. Yes, it don't snow at those temperatures it has to warm up to around zero to plus or minus a few degrees. Then it usually drops temperatures after the storm passes. Up here your a idiot if you trust the power grid 100 percent. Most people have illegal woodstoves ect... in the country incase it fails like it did in 1997 for 2 weeks. A storm knocked out power then when the snow melted it all went to the fargo, grand forks area which is a bottom of a ancient lake. Guess what it flooded in valley area 90 miles east. I believe in the words of Jesus Christ, when he said, "The wise man built his house upon the rocks while the foolish man built his house upon the sands near the waters." Words to live by.
Still more realistic than the weather channel's coverage of that tropical storm Florence. Not much but better.
