NOTE TO ANYONE WHO WANTS OHIO: Today is the last day of the cycle to reset a line (at least on US server) and get double the RB points for it. Tomorrow, the 2x reset will reset again. That means if you reset tonight then grind the line out or free xp to the tier X again, you’ll be able to get another 2x tomorrow. Furthermore, if you free xp the line, you can reset it tomorrow and then buy and play the ships only once to get the RB points. That’s 40k RB points, or 2/3 an Ohio.
Doesn't the counter resetting also depend on when you use it, i.e. if you use it today, then it'll take another few months for the bonus to come back regardless of when the scheduled bonus reset is supposed to be?
I haven't reset lines all that much so I'm not too knowledgeable on how it all works-really doesn't help when WG themselves aren't that specific about it either
@@aristosachaion_ No, it resets every 3 months no matter when you use it. So use it today!
Regarding that salvo at 5 min mark: I'm having these days the same absurd dispersion but while playing cruisers. I did talk to some clan mates and friends and they are experiencing the same issue. Maybe it's some desync issue with the servers to add to the marvelous aiming bugs (last week I found myself with my DM 2 Jinan completely broadsiding at 5 km, 3 salvoes to each 1 and... 0 cits).
I don't know, but whit CVs and subs around, if you add these aiming problems the whole experience is sh*t.

My guess is most of it is deliberate by WG. The aiming bug complaints have been around for a few years with no acknowledgement. When I look across the 6-7 years ive played this game at WG as a company, their treatment of the original CCs, LWM, blatant lies, and obscene cash grabs, theres not much hope for the game. I think the death nell was the recent anouncment that bots will now have human looking names. WG knows that the player base is only shrinking and eventually they will have to fill T10 randoms with bots. Its also why the kitakami event was so expensive. If you didnt have the resources, wasnt that a $1500 ship? Who does that? A rat that is circling the drain. WG has proven over and over that they have no morals, no ethics, and would deliberately give their own mothers cancer just so they could sell her the cure and make a dollar. Disgusting company.
@@cloggedpitot1 I agree with you completely. The cost of playing has long been too high, any game and not just WG. We forget that we have long been living in a consumer society where everything is paid for. After all, if this was your game, you would want others to pay for your work and idea, right??
Even so, games are still the cheapest form of entertainment. Unfortunately.

Ohio is the most well rounded BB in game imo. It can do just about everything. 10/10, no regrets about getting this ship and this replay just further proves that fact.
Damn I love Ohio. I feel like it's one of the most consistent, despite only 8 guns.
"That's ok, it pulled through in the end" that really is what I think of Ohio and even Massachusetts. Some salvos are extremely wonky but with a proper player behind the wheel you're guaranteed to be on the map long enough to get some wicked salvos too

was more like 12k into the stern with one full pen, the deck pens are similar on the ohio as the montana I.E. those random cits and full pens mid turn are more common then most think
That cit on the Satsuma was a cheek one. They look very stupid at times😅
With a little bad ping involved you can have the Cit puff in front of the Ship😂
How about a vid on the mechanics of reprinting a line for RB points? I have watched a few but it is still confusing.

Hi PQ, I'm trying to get better in my battleship positioning and i've got a question about your positioning in this game: The C cap was won very fast and when only the petro was left (at around 2:00 minutes in the video), you turned your ship towards the petro. And I can't figure out why. You had all your guns on the left side , aiming at the petro. My decision in that case would have been to continue along the d line, still having the petro being broadside to me and not losing on dpm. At the same time I would have got closer to the 8 line, securing the enemies quarter of the map. By that, I would have been closer to the yoshino and could have helped the sherman on the dd. On top, the Duncan returning to the cap and the ohio along the 7 or 8 line, this could have been a great crossfire against their bbs.
I'd like to know why you decided so differently. I think you could have angled against petro if you pushed the d line while coming closer to the yoshino. I'd love to hear your thought process.

See, if at 2:58 if you were in a 6 gun BB you’d say “oh this is because we’re in a 6 gun BB”. All battleships have BS salvos in this game. It’s designed to keep bad players alive and to keep them playing and enjoying the game.
I really like the Ohio, only issue is ASW which makes it painful to play most of the time.

Hmm, is it good to play secondary guns on American battleship? Such as IOWA, MONTANA ?
Not really. Those ships are really meant for their guns. You can but it’s not really worth it
no, they dont get improved accuracy, reload and range of ohio/masssa etc. On the other hand they get lovely guns. I personally find monty guns to be more fun than ohio (controversial) due to 12vs 8 shells being just more consistant against broadsides. I had some insane broadside savlos with monty, like once i think i did over 70k into other monty with multiple citadels. And HE is very underated as well, itsnot conq levels but accuracy makes it very good he spammer at longer ranges.

Hey PQ, could you make an updated battleship guide? With all the boring bits you usually leave out. I returned to the game a little while ago and now struggle massively with positioning, carriers being more frequent and subs a new threat. I can not play my favorite ship the Yamato anymore and I had a 61% WR in 450 battles in her. Now I find myself constantly out of position with half or more of my attention on subs, whom I still die against.

Do you prefer Ohio or Yamato with UU in Randoms? Completely different playstyles, I know, but since I apparently have some similar tastes as you it would be great to know.

For some reason my Ohio doesn´t have that accuracy, she just sprays shells all over the place. Although, I have built her for accuracy, there is no way I can land 4 pens on one salvo
