I hope you all enjoyed the amazing stories they shared. Here is the video we did of their Jeep load out in Baja back in 2019: ua-cam.com/video/hPo3ig6674M/v-deo.html
Seeing Brad &Regina, and Carrol and Pete just hanging out together is so cool! Much respect for both of these wonderful people. If these two families could go on a trip with Clay and Rachel Croft, it would be my 3 favorite channels! I learn so much from you all. Stay safe and God bless you all in your travels.
Positive attitude is EVERYTHING! I learned from my dad who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at age 29, he’s now 72 and still mobile. He has early dementia as well. He is always cracking jokes or repeating stories from his time in the army. Being positive is absolutely Essen for life!!! ❤️ I’m a nurse and wow am I amazed. Life is short. Keep a great attitude and persevere! Really makes life an amazing experience
Between you and Regena, Brad, I've also watch quite a few of their videos too. Their adventures are epic as far as I'm concerned. Both of your channels are what I dream of. This was Great! Thanks Brad!
@@TrailRecon it's all good Brad! I enjoy all of yours and theirs videos! Y'all do a great job of making my ultimate goal in my retirement plans. I doubt I'll be in a jeep. But it'll definitely be a 4x4 and maybe a little pull behind off road trailer. Stay safe Brad!
Wow! What an incredible One Take!! Love watching EFRT and Lando!! And of course the kids! They have grown up before our eyes! We started watching all you guys just before the pandemic started. And we grew to love watching you all travel and waiting for each new video! Keep it up, all of you!! Thanks for the memories!
I would say you and Regina should start your own off road adventure show on a major tv channel, but that will more than likely take away the fine elements of class and good wholesome entertainment you have. Keep up the great work! 👍
Massively inspiring is an understatement. Both of your channels and adventures have literally changed my life and have inspired my wife and I to get a Jeep Wrangler, get out off the grid as much as possible and put our adventures on UA-cam as well. We even put our elopement and wedding on our channel. Things we would have never thought of if we were not such huge fans of and inspired by Trail Recon and Epic Family Road Trip. Love you guys! Ya'll are such great people!
Thanx Brad, it was your trip to Baja with The Epic Family that sparked my interest into their journey. I’ve followed them ever since. You inspire adventures. Thank you
I haven't watch Peter and Carol's channel yet but one thing Peter mentioned about their kids education was being able to experience history of the Vikings, I can relate to that as a Military Brat and Marine Veteran, I can remember our Step Father who enjoys camping and I can remember walking the streets of Pompeii, Herculaneum in Italy or visiting Castles in Germany or even the somber life experiences from Auschwitz, Dachau concentration camps. There is no better education than hands on schooling, It is something I've tried tp pass on to our children as well. Family and Friends are the integral part of life and it is worth every second you spend with them, even just sitting at the dinner table and discussing life is a better education than ignoring your families needs or problems because you don't have time with one another. Make the time and relish it !!! Loved this One Take !!!
One thing I recognized soon after I started following EFRT. The modifier Epic primarily describes the family. Thanks, TR and EFRT, for sharing your adventures.
Such a great UA-cam channel Epic Family Road Trip is and they are a wonderful family. Nice to see them with Brad and Regina. Great video and many thanks for sharing.
What a great family. I sense that Carol and Pete are more spirtual then they may realize. They have tremendous potential to influence and lead others in that arena in their future.
I still remember driving down to Flagstaff from Edmonton ,AB with my youngest son and meeting Carol and Peter at Overland Expo in 2019. We talked for about ten minutes which was great, I've been watching them for a long time now and really enjoy the sincerity in the conversation. Truthfully when they talked about challenges and finding the silver lining and moving through it... that is what I teach my kids too. You will be a better person for it and the learnings you get are tools for your next challenge... Thanks for doing this one take with them and amazing family to show case !!!
Loved watching this and hearing all they said. I watch quite a few of their videos and it's amazing how well they all do as a family and it's really what's missed in this day and age.
The hardest thing about doing this sort of travelling is taking the first step leaving a job leaving your friends and just going, the second thing that you realise is how much crap you do not need in your life , and the worst part of this sort of travelling is when you stop travelling you look back and you wish you were still traveling. Great vid guys I hope this inspires some people to get out and get travelling
I love Epic Family Road Trip. When they came to New Zealand they were in my home town named Papamoa. I remembered seeing thier rooftop tent because it was bright orange I'm a huge fan of Trail Recon as well. Great Q n A video. So good 👍🏽
The best coffee one take yet. I wish this incredible story of how Peter and Carol raised their children, could get out to more families. I think this is a perfect alternative, for many of us with children, dealing with the bureaucracies in public schools and the overreaching of our Federal Government. Completely envious.
Hey Brad, Terri and I always enjoy watching you and the EFRT crew! Thank you Brad/Trailrecon and EFRT for doing such beautiful, top notch, and amazing video work, that many of us are living and dreaming through. You all have done so much for the overlanding community. We have also learned much from your videos and awesome interviews and such. You guys keep up the good work!! See you on the trail someday. ❤👏👏👏 Steve and Terri
Hi Brad: What a great video about there experience during all there travels. What an experience for all you folks are having & the memories you have. I have been following you all for several years as well as Casey 250 & Shawn. All the best to you all & take care. Keith
Thanks Brad for showing us this! Me and my family need to get out A LOT more this summer. We let the 90+ degree heat get the best of us last year, not this year!!!
I'm from western Canada, Alberta to be exact bordering Montana. This video was awesome and they seem like a real wholesome family. Will definately follow them. Keep up all the great videos Brad 👍👍🇨🇦
I believe you've mentioned it before, but where did you those chairs? My spouse has expressed interest in doing some overlanding and wheeling with me, which surprised me, lol. I want to make sure comfort is covered 😁 Another great video, that family has certainly met and overcome some challenges, sounds like an adventure they're having. Keep up the great adventures and videos!
They’re Stargazer chairs (they recline so you can easily view the stars…or just relax) by Nemo. They aren’t cheap but worth every penny, especially if you have sciatica, which I do. There’s no bar across the edge of the seat to compress the back of your leg.
The one question I had and the people that might be thinking about doing this is, was how they afford to live this type of lifestyle? I can't imagine they have regular jobs so how did they make it possible?
Wow, 6 years? Amazing. I remember first seeing them on this channel when they had the one Jeep. Awesome coffee take. I can see you doing more of this style. Btw...The chairs you and Regina have, what's the brand? Can't remember the name but have seen them before.

Brad. Who makes those rocking camp chairs? I checked out your store and they aren't listed. Can you share brand? I see so many on amazon. Would love to see a product review.
They’re Stargazer chairs by Nemo and they are the best camping chair ever! They aren’t cheap but they are worth every penny. I have sciatica and since there is no bar across the edge of the seat, they don’t compress the back of the leg and exacerbate things.
I wanted to know if they will keep going when they become empty nesters , and if you both plan to when the boys move on , we have been empty nesters for a while but with covid the van and trailer are sinking in the driveway here in Canada
Brad those chairs you were in talking to epic family look comfortable we’re did you get them an name of them you were in my backyard live in imperial we do a lot of wheeling out there

@@regenakowitz thanks for responding to my question! He is a Beautiful animal, I grew up on a ranch in southern New Mexico where my Dad traveled to buy livestock. As a child we would run out to meet him at his truck to see what exotic animal he brought home? My childhood love was a female greyhound that I would take to school and she would wait outside to school was out so we could play together

Probably my favorite Coffee One Take yet. That family is awesome. Need to do one with Kevin, Sara and Caroline with Lifestyle Overland
Thank you! It would be great to connect with them.
Hung out with them some at Overland East and they're just a real genuine family like the EFRT crew.

Love everyone in this video and i have never met you.
Great video and story! Did you happen to do a rig walk around on their Jeep? Good looking rig!!!!
Not this time, but we did do a short walk around of Vandi a couple years ago in Baja: ua-cam.com/video/hPo3ig6674M/v-deo.html

Did anyone catch the name of the education platform they are using with the kids?
