One thing that I love about Sophia is that when she's turning in a solo, she never does as many turns as she CAN she does as many as she WANTS to and I think that is a sign of a true professional.
Agreed, hey there's this youtuber doing reaction videos to dancers. He's only done like 3 videos of Sophia but I really want him to watch Vogue as it's like my favourite solo of hers. Do you think you could please comment on his videos telling him to watch Vogue whenever you get the time too? His youtube name is Meddyson.
That's tru, but she obv can't turn forever cuz that would be boring in a solo, and she also can only do as many turns as the choreographers ask of her

Oh Yeah!!! This is the REAL Soph at her best and it doesn't matter what some people may want to call the various parts/maneuvers that she does so well, her performance here is more entertaining than those that are more sedate and less active while taking noting away from them. Go Soph and Molly......great job! More from you two, please.

How can she do that many turns?? And someone tell me how to get feet like her!! Oh my God that's freaking amazing how flexible she is!!!
It's not just her feet. You have to keep balance and make sure you spot so you won't get dizzy. Practice everyday with balance stretches and other things.
TripleM's I'm talking about how does her feet get so pointy. I know how she gets flexible i was asking about her feet. I also know that she has to spot so she won't get dizzy.
My guess: Sophia is a natural turner. Try buying a ballet is fun turn board it has helped me tremendously with my turns/spotting

omg this solo was SO GOODDDD! By far my favorite of hers. Also, if anyone knows the remix of this song PLEASE let me know! It sounded a bit like 'vogue (isweat remix) by diva invasion but the begging and the dubstep part is different.

Funny story-
My dance teacher was at a competition. He sat down beside a woman, and didn't know who she was. The woman asked "Do you want to see her costume?"
He was like "Umm..No.."
Then he looked over at the bag, and saw that it said Sophia on it. Then, he was immediately like:
"OMG! You meant Sophia's? Sorry I was in another world. Of course, I'd love to see it"
It happened to be the Vogue costume!

My only problem with her dancing is that she breaks character before and during her turns. I mean her turns are phenomenal, but I wish that she could relax her face and still act while doing them. (Constructive criticism, this isn't meant as shade towards Sophia. She's the best dancer I've ever seen at her age, but even seemingly perfect dancers aren't perfect)

What is this song remix?
Not sure if some of her turns were supposed to be turned out or in especially in retire. If they were meant to be more like ballet pirouettes then she needs to work on maintaining her turnout. However I did love the control she had coming out of them. Great power overall.
There were just a couple times that I couldn't tell maybe cause she was spinning quickly :P and turn out can always be worked on even if it's good :)
@@taryndancer29 first set of turns the knees were meant to touch and the foot in the air was meant to be slightly crossed, second set was jazz parallel, third fourth and fifth were in coupe (fifth en fendu) sixth was a leg turn, seventh in compass/pencil then into leg grab, eighth was in jazz parallel then slide down to coupe, ninth was in jazz parallel.
so basically none of them were turned in or had poor turn out, they were just done in parallel
