You make bricklaying look so easy Charlie 1 of the best bricklayers iv ever seen I really want to learn the trade been doing hard landscaping 8 years now and my boss lets me do everything laying patios block paving fencing turfing I love a variety im doing my own private jobs on weekends going to stick at it but I think in a few years im going to take the pay cut and learn brickwork starting at the bottom and working my way up but its hard finding bricklayers that want to teach. Anyone who works for you is very lucky if you lived closer I would come and graft for you such a good teacher with no end of patience love the vids mate.

You should do a introduction video for new labourers so you dont need to repeat yourself every other week. And means they dont miss anything. Even watching this would be a start, with knowing to get the water and stuff.

Good thing to do for the hoddys is use the plastic wrap that the bricks come in put it all along the sides of the wall of the ground floor so all the muck that falls through the gap between the joist and the blockwork and gets rock hard easily comes up if its on the plastic big pain when it goes rock hard on the floor and you've got to go at it with a scraper

Didn't seem to be much urgency in his movements. Thats body language. But as I said I like to be proved wrong and first impressions can be deceiving.
