Very much like the video. It helped a ton.
Could it be perhaps introduced in a simpler way with less players? I realize that is not realistic to a game, but might be helpful for use in drills. Also less going on to master the basics of left and right, then build by adding more guys. Just a thought.
Also, instead of labeling "M" in red text along with "DM1" in black couldn't you just do "DM1" in red?

I”m glad you enjoyed it and it helped.
Introducing it in smaller packages is essential to younger players understanding the ideas. Check out the “Triangle Show Drill” and 5 on a Die Drill”, those will help you build it in smaller steps. The “line bump drill” and “Salisbury Call Drill” build crease slides if you’re interested in that as well.
I’m with you in regards to the labeling, that is how it looks in the PDF’s. The “green field diagrams” are from a program called PlayScripter and that’s the only way to label the players.
Let me know if I can help with anything coming up!

This describes a recovery situation but what are your thoughts on doubling the ball.

Be opportunistic. If you can make a play, make a play. If they turn their head and you can go from the backside, even better. If you can make an impact, do it, but recognize that you are selling out your teammates if you don’t make a play and they are able to move the ball.

Adjacent slide mostly used for Man defense or works fine with Zone defense also?

Zone is inherently adjacent with perimeter dodges. The only time there would be a crease slide in a zone is a 4&2 zone with 2 crease slides inside.
