I would not call this a "slow season" for BTC, I'd call it a stealth bear market. Why? You plug in any stock ticker for what current BTC chart looks like, and, if you're being honest, you get to this conclusion.
I wonder what is it going to take for Developers to focus on killer apps beyond infrastructure. It might just be the case that infrastructure is still trying to figure out how to justify being a viable alternative to companies hosting their own central servers, as decentralized networks are less efficient in terms of speed, control, and security. I do believe the usage and growth of users holding stable coins though is a bullish indicator of adoption and retention, when the market eventually turns around.
What is the most effective strategy for entering crypto trading if you have around $5,000 to invest, or even if your investment amount is slightly more or less?
As a beginner, it's essential for you to have a pro or a very good trader to keep you accountable.

Trading is difficult, I'd spend the five grand on education for trading. It's not easy. Investing is different, that's easier. Short term or long term gain is the question.
