Pissed a lot of people off at Saints at the end of his spell there ......apparently when he was captain at RGS high Wycombe he was the most hated player on the school circuit because of his arrogance. But to be fair he was a class player .
The best GBR episode yet. I love Hask but you couldn’t have had this with him interjecting all the time. Imagine a 20 year GBR anniversary of the World Cup win this November with Jonno and Wilko
Dallaglio on the French: "They don't travel well really, do they? They take all their wine, but not much else." Hurts all the more that this was recorded before the French demolition at the weekend 😂😂 Another fantastic show. Thanks GBR!

What a great team and bunch of blokes they were as players and still are today. Lawrence is absolutely right what an utter shambles England Rugby has been since that World Cup win and Clive left. People need to be held accountable for wasting a generation of great England players.....
Very true a lot of this , re the “telling someone off”..it’s not bullying it’s learning ,,..HR in a lot of ways HAS gone too far, when in serious circumstances we are too to soft
It's mad the similarities between the English 03 slam and the 2023 Irish slam. I'm not saying that the it mean ireland will win the world cup, but there are similarities
The thing about the match against Ireland was England had another level they could go to and they never looked like losing, were as Ireland just about beat France and Wales. So in hindsight maybe the result wasn’t that surprising. Regarding the red carpet, it was just gamesmanship, just let it go.
Munster would have loved to be able to keep him and he would have stayed but irfu rules don’t allow for it for 2 reasons. a, 2 players in the same position b, back to back contracts for NIQ’s in the same positions.( the reason why pineaar couldn’t get a second contract with Ulster) I’m not angry at Leinster or Snyman as he needs to stay in ireland for Irish citizenship (EU passports). I do have an issues with the disproportionate number of central contracts in Leinster. If the IRFU allows Snyman move then Leinster should loose a central contract for one of their players . Otherwise it makes an uneven playing field even more uneven I think for Munster they’d be better off with a Snyman quality player in the front row. We don’t have 1 international standard front row
V interesting podcast. I can’t get my head around the idea of a captain or senior players “telling off” other more junior players on the pitch. It feels the game has changed and the best captains would never do this in public. Can’t imagine Siya Kolisi telling off a junior player like Canan Moodie in the public spotlight. I think of Dan Biggar in the recent RWC and his awful tantrum with George North I think it was, it made him look really bad IMO. It’s not like it’s just the junior players who will make errors so would this culture then give them free reign to also “tell off” senior players when they made mistakes ?
Nice feature -well done. All the better for NOT having Harry & Meghan’s best friend in evidence. Tins, Lol and Dawse always good value for money, though.
Yeah, i guess they certainly organized this little chat before saturday's match 😂 Special bonus laugh when they intentionally mispelled french players names. Karma stuff.
Hahaha i like how their highlights literally erase their opponents tries (best example vs France) More seriously, even if we know the editorial line of these "pundits", this 2003 England was very hard to beat, with Wilko as a serial killer at penalties and drop goals.

Very true!
Ibwant to hear part 2 where they dissect what LOL said for the 10years after
What a trip down memory lane, Dallagio is a true rugby gent with great sense of humour.. 👍👍

Another fantastic show. Thanks GBR!
Great pod.
Thanks to all those great players who made my 2003!!!
Better than the events at Twickenham yesterday that’s for sure !
Slamming ya hand in a car door, is better than that.
My favourite episode so far. Matt Dawson was exceptional.
In walks Fin Smith on a pissing down Munster evening and drops goals from 48m out ... this kids gunna be someone special!
Matt just adds wonderful aspects of the game...Remember Clive Woodward as a player..just was brilliant.
What a great show, brilliant. Now we need the reminiscent chat of the 2003 S. Hemisphere tour.
Watching this back makes me realise how under utilised the drop goal is these days. Jonny was incredible at keeping the scoreboard ticking
Massively pleasurable couple hours. Thank you!
Loved this show well done GBR👍👍
This was great. like sitting in a pub with a fire on chatting rugby!
Dallaglios microphone style shows that Italian style coming through! But nice to remember some good times after Saturday!
Great to relive that fantastic grand slam year. That was key in setting them up for the WC win.
What an episode!!!!
Brilliant episode.
Awesome…one of the best GBR’s!

Lovely to see Lawrence out and about. Was wondering when you would have him on. Indeed, that team knew how to party.
Fantastic. Thank you guys.
Absolutely brilliant, loved that! More of the same please 👍
Really good watch, plenty of great pre-during -apres match insights.
I miss those days, that team and their success. Wonder if we could reform them, Expendables style, for one last job this weekend?
Must must must get these guys back to recal the 03 world cup
Just brilliant guys - Turpe Nescire
please do this but for the rugby world cup 2003

Living in the past, let’s reminisce about when Britannia ruled the waves

It's mad the similarities between the English 03 slam and the 2023 Irish slam. I'm not saying that the it mean ireland will win the world cup, but there are similarities
Ireland are nowhere near 2003 England, Ireland didn’t beat the southern hemisphere teams in Australia and New Zealand back to back
@@Secret19977 England didn't win a test series in NZ

Missing Hask for some laughs!
Hask no doubt still deeply traumatised by Harry & Meghan’s “near death” car chase.
dear o dear, was not even thinking about, this , then found, myself here, unhappy, crack at fiji
All shaved heads Matt,Mike and Lawrence .

More likely then not gak’d off his head on some substance
22:40… don’t speak too soon on the French ability to travel and get a result Lol! Pants well and truly down ..

Clive woodward was obviously great for England .But fucked up the lions in 05 ..Bringing Alastair campbell on the tour was utterly ridiculous .

Didn't you lads want to talk about Saturday's game then? 2003 World Cup? WTF, not sure England will feature much in this year's RWC.
“Oi, and in 1872 we English played in India and won the Calcutta Cup that hadn’t even been made yet! We are so wonderful!”
Wonderful to watch grown ups chatting without Haskell shoehorning his ego in where it’s not needed
Super trip down memory lane not spoilt by a few acid comments from a few serial losers.
england rugby pulling out the out photos to hide their tears!
Pretty sure England Rugby had nothing to do with it you soppy twat
What on earth is going on with a Lawrence and his inability to sit still for more than 5 seconds… WOW!
Restless leg syndrome
He keeps adjusting his 🥚🥚
