Clearly, this is meant for folks who have never used a processor before..duh? You really need to feel superior over a pile of breadcrumbs..? Sad.

If you need a quick fix for breadcrumbs, just take one piece of white bread, break it up into a few pieces. Add a few spices like a bit of powdered garlic, oregano, parsley... Your own favorites. Then pulse it a few times until you get the size you want. In a small pan heat it on low/medium heat to dry them out. ONE slice of bread is really enough for a normal sized meatloaf.

when did Jamie Oliver go bald and turn Scotch?

Brilliant, but what do you want with a whole bowl of breadcrumbs and 400g of chopped nuts? Far better a mini chopper or Bamix to make smaller practical quantities.

so, using a food processor will never get anything chopped evenly, if i want it chopped roughly (almonds)? what about those food processors where you put something in and it doesn't get chopped/cut at the bottom of the machine but at the top, close to the lid?

Is it just me, or should Jamie Oliver be in a Jamie Oliver video?

    • @toriasummers2670

that’s kind of what I thought and if anyone cannot do this without being taught, there’s something wrong - or perhaps I’m missing something - put ingredient in, turn on and blitz until you SEE that it’s done - waste of time video in my view!

Really useful stuff as kitchenaid food processors come with no instructions other than assembly of parts!

She's trying not to laugh when he says 20 times that the bread is stale and re-explains the pulse button. Can't believe he trusted her with the bread AND almonds!

Cant believe he let her put her hands and fingers into the bowl that still had the blades in, to test the breadcrumb consistency. #healthandsafetyFAIL

Hey Jamie. Check this video out! I agree with Luis Gomez. The awkwardness and unprofessional attitude of the female assistant really degrades the quality of the video's that we have enjoyed from your channel. Just because she thinks she knows how to use a food processor, does not mean everybody does! I would pull the video down and redo it it if I were you.

  • @LuisGomez-op4zf

This would be a great instructional video, but the poor attitude of the girl helping the chef, makes this video akward and unprofessional. She keps doing a stupid grin and laughing.
    Awful...

It's rude of you to assume that she has a poor attitude. Have you ever been filmed for televesion? It can make people nervous and act strangely. Most likely she didn't know what to do with herself and felt a little awkward.
You can't expect people to always be all smiles. Some people have anxiety issues and some people just aren't energetic, and it's judgemental comments like the one you made that make it difficult for people to just feel ok being themselves.

I can not believe that this guy says at 2:30 about normally we wash out the bowl to stop crossing flavours yet he then cleans snots from his nose with his left hand and wipes them on his apron what a filthy disgusting act in the kitchen and if this is what Jamie Oliver team sees as OK to upload to UA-cam I would hate to see what goes on in his kitchens :-(
