Sewing a Beautiful Organza Pink Princess Gown! DIY

- Last year I made this dress on my old channel, but I've since moved channels and wanted to share it with you all here to revive it. This is one of the craziest most time consuming dresses I've done and I was so happy with the outcome!
I used rose gold organza from Fabric Wholesale Direct as well as rose gold satin to line it. I used the Rose Cafe Bustier off Etsy for the bodice and then made up the skirt on my own. Hope you enjoy it!

Cora would be a good name for a dress. I was thinking of popular girls’ names during the time people were traveling west along the Oregon Trail, since the gathered tier at the bottom reminds me of the 1840’s when young ladies wore that style for day dresses. Gathers, pleats, ruffles and trims… the look for practical summer garments of the time. Anyhoo. Yeah. Cora. I have enjoyed watching your videos and seeing your designs take shape. Keep putting out videos, I love to watch people design and sew!
Cora is such a pretty name! I named another dress of mine Coraline but I supposed Cora is technically different! I do love the prairie type of dresses, I love ruffles and pretty details like that, hoping to incorporate it into many future designs too. :D Thanks so much for watching my video!!

As for me I’ve gone through a lot of change haha. The long haired me was when I was having a bad diet and got acne a lot and was tired a lot and didn’t sleep much 😂😂 but you’re so kind thank you for watching!!!

I love using a knitting needle for turning corners and help smooth curves. you can get diff sizes for different weights of fabric

I can't come up with a good name for the dress but it kinda looks like a very fancy bridesmaid dress. Those straps looked like they caused you a lot of trouble lol.
I'd love to see a wedding with bridesmaid dresses like this! I wish I knew how to sew when I got married :( Haha yes, it's always chaos with straps, and I always forget to sew them into the garment before lining it haha
the only difference on the version i would try to make is that i would have some glittery organza on top of all of this skirt '^' (i like shiny things)
Im with you on all things shiny!!! It’s shiny but maybe if it was layered it’d show more or yes shinier fabric with glitter maybe hehe. I actually have some glittery fabric for another dress on hold 😍
