Can you briefly explain your underpainting color selections. Why did you use a pink and purple underpainting for a blue sky and green shrubs.

If I did not have mentioned it there, I like to use a warmer color in the sky to give it more luminosity, other colors might be from my personal preferences.

superbes couleurs, je suis peintre en pastel et je connais pas l interet de l isoprol, pouvez vous m expliquer ? moi ma premiere couche c est aux crayons pastel polychromos, des pastels Rembrant un peu dur et la finition au pastel schmincke tendre.
Quel talent et tant de travail aussi pour acquérir ce résultat

What paper/card did you use?

It's UART sanded paper, neutral color. 400 grit number is great for small to medium work. Other brands will work too, just need to be white or neutral color for the underpainting technique.
