I own this rifle and can confirm it shoots crazy good sub Moa at 100 yards

My Mossberg 7mm PRC is a shooter. Very happy with mine.

I’ve seen so many videos on that rifle in 7 prc and they all just pound. Wouldn’t be afraid one bit to buy one.

I have this rifle in Strata camo. Mine shooting 3/4 MOA with factory ELDX. I'm impressed.

I just bought one and it shoots sub Moa 3-4 shot groups with ELdm and eldx factory ammo pretty consistently so far, pretty awesome for $450. I have 57 rounds through it, we ll see if it tightens up.

One thing should be noted. The Patriot Predator stock does not have or use metal pillar bedding. It is all plastic. My Patriot .308 shot better when I put it in an MDT chassis. Then, for a while, I thought about having it in the original polymer stock and I could not torque down the rear action screw. I hear something crack and it was the removable mag well, which is used like a shim. At the rear action screw guide there is a gap in the plastic. I thought I broke the stock. I ordered a replacement stock. Turned out to be made the same way. I have talked to Mossberg twice about this and they are not interested. I still like Mossberg stuff and have a total of 4 pieces.
Just realize that if you are buying a Patriot or Patriot Predator, you might be changing to a stock with good bedding. So, when I got my Mossberg Patriot Predator 7 PRC with cerakote, I did not fire in the factory stock. I put it an Oryx first and got results similar to this. One two shot group for hunting measured .41 inches apart.
Doing such takes it out of the "budget" category. And I have watched more than once the 3 videos that Backfire did on the Patriot .308 with the walnut stock. They are the only people I have seen who had a problem as bad as that. Just about every one who responded in their threads had better experiences than they had.
You and one other reviewer got this sub MOA performance with the Mossberg polymer stock and 7 PRC. Which leads me to believe that I have not always been the best shooter and that I just like chassis because of the variable fit they offer.

Very nice breakdown, thank you! I'm actually gonna grab one and buy a higher in 7prc in a few years when more are available.

I put my patriot 7 PRC in an Oryx. It's a good upgrade if you are not going on walkabouts.

You should be more concerned about yhe plastic receiver stock bedding instead of the plastic trigger guard ,never seen any one on you tube with a broken trigger guard

My 308 shooting like a lemon about the best I got out of it 2"and have tried lots of different ammo going to try some hand loading but my hopes are low had to send back to mossberg not long after I got it cases were getting stuck they put New berrel on it I thought for sure that would help the accuracy but it didn't

A person in my family has a patriot I think in 243 if I remember correctly. I’ve not personally shot it but the groups I seen from it was nothing I’m interested in. Even if a gun doesn’t like one particular ammo it shouldn’t be that bad. I did see who tee shooting some good groups from his so I guess it’s hit and miss. Literally.

Even though it's a budget rifle 50/50% chances that ur getting a good shooter, is not what im willing to take a chance on, ruger american for me, higher probability that ur going to get a good shooter.

If you’re gonna invest in a 7prc, don’t make it this one. If you’re gonna go low end, get a cva cascade xt.

You need a rubber mallet to get bolt open....sheesh 🤠

Non locking bolt equalls no go for hunting. Wtf these stuffed suits that never even held a rifle r doing design obviously. The browning xbolt design is what more makers need to be doing with a bolt release button.

I personally hate a locking bolt. I don’t think I should have to flip the safety to eject the round. Or half safety
