Driving Devil's Staircase, North Bound From Kingston to Queenstown, New Zealand.

Nov. 2022 Don't be scared off the name of the road. Try to avoid early morning and later afternoon which is busy time for big tour buses to Milford Sound. I drove around noon, and the road is not busy at all. Really enjoyed the driving.
Driving around sharp corners of the Remarkable Mountain range along the deep inked water of Lake Wakatipu is just breathtaking. The road has a number of lookout points offering a different perspective of the Mountains and the lake. I drove north bound in this video from Kinston to Queenstown, the #2 lookout is the best view of the staircase.
