Here is download for the mod: mega.nz/file/a2gzECba#VcfDvCzopABwq4vMYRM3w6UKVmlWai7XQoGkIlD9kJ0 You will need launcher version of the OpenGOAL, and there is high chance that only the first test-zone you try will compile and others won't work.
@@Inirdin I believe it would be possible, just very painful. The custom level is like a normal level according to the game - it does not know/think that it is special.
@@LuminarLight Right, it is possible. Hat Kid just released his custom tasks for Ruh's Outset Island custom level. It's quite involved and I don't truly understand it
Now that we have Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy, 2 of the Jak games (unofficial ports) and Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy (and Last of Us), we can almost do anything modding wise now! Still need the original Uncharted Trilogy on PC though.
this is beautiful. Though it's all fun and games until Crash gets dipped in Dark Eco and comes out as a human being instead of an ottsel or a bandicoot.
Single handedly the best video I watched all day. The chest placements were so smart, not to mention the Eco usage, the Blue Eco was the most familiar. I wish the Red Eco had more spotlight, and then that ending lol
It's good to see the vertex colours working. They're missing in a lot of level mods I've seen. It's early days but there's so much modding potential for addons to areas, extra islands, ect. I can't wait to see fully realised mods in the future.
now i want to play an entire jak and daxter mod where you go through all the crash worlds! also i love even the little details like each box containing a random amount of orbs, nice touch!
the unrecognised double jump at 0:25 is such a mood... I played TPL for the first time recently (PS3 port); new to the series so IDK where the issue comes from but I could swear it just dropped inputs for the double jump, and quite often too.
That missed jump was actually intentional. I wanted to show that the pits are working. I haven't played the official ports but I would say that the OpenGOAL is really responsive
@@Inirdin ah, I see, lol. Yeah, I tried OpenGOAL some more and it is as smooth as butter. I looked it up and apparently the double jump thing is a timing issue, IG they wanted you to use the jump to gain height rather than distance cos it stops working when you start to fall. The decomp feels so responsive I don’t even mind when I’m playing that version though
I thought it couldn't get better... and it did... like 3 times in a row 😄It's like watching a perfect game that the child within me never knew I wanted!
Uncharted borrows quite a bit from Jak 2 and 3 like there's a definite progression from fun wacky platformer to more serious cinematic storytelling and third person shooting
@@knuclear200x regardless Uncharted still takes a lot from Crash Bandicoot and Jak and Daxter. The first 3 games had a lot of platforming and puzzles(even if they werent exactly "good" moreso fine, the chase sequences were clearly from Crash to the point of having the same camera angle. If anything, The Last of Us strays away a lot from the past 3 franchises

The ending is great. good job!
Yes It Is.
Love the star gate reference
Indeed.
Ok that was cool, but the ending touch with the Warp Rings like in Stargate was just 👌
Impressive how you were able to set the total orbs in the level at the end - polished af
The total orbs notification wasn't in-game, I added that latter. The custom levels in OpenGOAL can't do stuff like that yet

We're literally seeing three PSN generations made by Naughty Dog in one video. That's fantastic.
Now we just need Ratchet and Clank going through a Spyro level.
This is the kind of stuff that really excites me about the PC ports, making new levels and stuff like this!

OpenGOAL has opened a path that cannot be closed ever again . amazing work dude
This whole OpenGOAL in Jak and Daxter is just amazing it's like he's going into the Multiverse
Just needs some enemies and it's a full-fledged level, nice work!
Now that's a "back to the roots" moment if I ever saw one.
Nice, I can see the high effort. And the result is cool.
A true piece of art
...this looks surreal. incredible job, feels like something they would do as a cheat code easter egg or something
I think the map from Twinsanity could work really well.
Someone just posted this ua-cam.com/video/WjQbDEPPEc8/v-deo.html
Nostalgia overload. I need to replay Jak and Daxter like right now lol
The one thing this has over OG Crash. You can turn the camera.
Awesome work, kinda makes me wonder what a ps2 naughtydog crash game would look like, very interesting thought.

I'm glad the classic jack and Daxter was used. Fits more nicely with the atmosphere
All memes aside, I would love a Crash mod with Jak and Daxter. That shit sounds fire as fuck!

This is a perfect tribute to Crash, Jak and Uncharted crossing over.
I happen to be rewatching SG1 currently so the rings at the end nearly floored me hahaha
Fun fact
Andy Gavin and Jason Rubin who created Crash Bandicoot also made Jak and Daxter
I’ve seen a lot of PC Jak and Daxter stuff lately. That makes me happy.
These custom levels are getting very well made

PISSED this took a week to be recommended to me. This is great!
I am a huge fan of both games, and just saying… you absolutely killed it
I really enjoyed this. It's funny how you put the scene in Uncharted at the end. XD
The Ring transporter at the end was the cherry on top
What a time to be alive. I can’t wait to have Jak 2 and 3 on PC too!
Oh man, the Stargate rings soundeffect is so good.
That was amazing! Thank you for making this video
I must say crash 1 level graphics have aged beautifully
Now to just randomly replace some orbs with bolts from R&C, enemies from Spyro and-

This legitimately broke my mind. What the hell??
Criminally underrated
This... This... It's golden! You just made my day. Thanks choom! 👍
I remenbered playing this game with an PS2 Homebrew disc, back in my old days...
Man, that was quite old era.
Incredible. Best mod so Far
This is *very* cool and *very* cursed. In another universe, this is the crossover game we got instead of CrashxSpyro.
AND THE ENDING LMAO

The blending of Naughty Dog goodness, ending with Nathan Drake. This video was amazing.
Ive been looking forward to this!
this just made my brain release dozens of serotonin
A jak and daxter mod? I m impressed really

A franchise owned by Sony making a fan made cameo in a franchise originally exclusive to Playstation that is now owned by Microsoft. Pretty trippy.
