The best way to make sure that other people's expectations don't eat into your music making time is to just make sure that you are a disappointment to everyone so they don't ask you for things.
@@alicehoon7474 It depends who you ask! For ME it is absolutely yes, because for me the workflow and layout of Logic makes more sense. The best is to get the 90 day trial version and make your own opinion ;)
QUESTION OF THE DAY: Did you ever challenge yourself to produce one song per week during 1 month?🔥 Don't forget your 12 Months Plan to learn music production at home ebook: bit.ly/3qFGzlY
Just wanted to say your videos are so amazing and helpful. Been binging them and its whats taken me from not wanting to even try to make music and give up my dreams (cause its too hard) to actually setting a plan and putting in the work. Keep it up ❤
Thank you for your video! What computer do you use? Also, do you think you could make a video on what gear you use and what you had when you first started your journey? Thank you so much for your amazing content! Love
Thank you for the great video PLV! I’ve probably got faster at making music with experience but I also feel making a deadline sometimes helps force you make decisions faster and not waste time as much.
Haha yeah I hate it when I get the best inspiration at 1 am when I'm supposed to be sleeping and then stay up till 3 am finish the song and then 3 hours of sleep to get up for work 😅
Literally was scrolling on my phone when she said " I see you"... Still, a fantastic video for a great topic since time management is a luxury in this day and age. Thank you :) Now to cover my webcam with tissues and paper before getting to the DAW
Hi! You mentioned a video around 7:30 of a day in your life making music while working a full-time job, I don't see a link to that. Is there another video about that? I'm struggling with working full time and managing my producing/learning time.
Thank you so much!! Mainly trial and error but most importantly analyzing songs, reference tracks and getting feedback from more experienced producers :) Are you struggling with it?
Thanks for the video, it really helps to be more efficient on my producing ❤❤. I think it would be even greater if the video was a little bit longer with like more parts when you show the difference within the week Also will there be a VOD of the mixing contest live? Nice work though 😊😊
Amazing, thank you Im glad it's helpful 🤗 For the lenght... I WISH I could make longer videos but believe me when I tell you only you would be watching it full. Peoples attention span is SO short these days, I can't make longer videos because of that. Maybe one day ;) For the remix contest what are you asking for ?
could you explain the pro and the cons of releasing a song with a Label? I mean you are so great and you have massive following, so why a producer like you would need a label to release songs? (I'm really interested about this topic)
Hey Michael! Absolutely! Here is my opinion and how I view it :) Pros I see in releasing with a label (for me): - They have a bigger audience reach and connections. (My audience is mostly interested in my videos, sometimes not so much listening to my songs so this is how I reach an audience that wants to listen to my songs only) - They do the promotion (saves me headaches and time as I want to focus else where) - They do the artwork (saves me time again) - Adds credibility (as you need a certain quality to be signed on labels) - Build professional relationship with people in the industry Cons: - You loose some royalties (but this is not my main stream of income so I personally don't care at the moment) - You can't control everything (like release date for example) - Some are very bad, be careful who you sign with! Hope it helps! :)
ah ok, that makes sense!! Thanks a lot, very helpful. (yeah, I've always been scared about how to be sure a label or collaborator is trustworthy or not)@@musicbyplv

Do you use ozone plugins for mixing and mastering?
YES! Ozone elements for mastering especially!
Funny cause I started watching the new season of You yesterday.
