It didn’t end up mattering since you recorrected the combat, but you have to take your hit as attacker by flipping an armored unit (even if that is a flanking unit) based on my understanding of the rules.
Keep up the good work. I'm eager to see what happens in the West because I always feel like I'm dithering with the orders and also would like to see the beach/navy movement as I'm less confident with the rules. P.S. I like the granular camera movement. More dramatic and holds attention better.
