59:22 this is the Stroop Effect. More specifically, the increased amount of time that it takes people to properly read the word (not the color of the text) when the colors don’t match; that time delay is the Stroop Effect Edit: typo fixed
This action plan Balaji lays out is pretty exciting and I'd love to see it in action. I'd even contribute if I could. Another thing Grey tribe needs though is their own fork of Wikipedia, such as InfoGalactic. It's harder to win the rational evidence based arguments when one of the largest go-to sources of free information is controlled and biased by Blue tribe activists on important subjects.
When your reliable inputs are Breitbart and Mark Levin etc., Balaji's ideas show the extreme bias in his thinking. No wonder his ideas of Blue and Red are so nutty.
Analysis of human condition herein seems to be generalized or formula. Addicted pawns seems a stretch since being that the devil/details points to drugs/nutrition/exercise/mental-outlook/spiritual cognizance etc. as a parallel reality that defines use of drug for escape or relaxation or any such reason that crystallized within the moment at hand. Something that bugs me in the use of the of the of the of the of the of the of the mind. And correct analysis.
Balaji is cool. But his dismissal of all vax criticism as tribal is extremely dumb. I think he makes that error because his vax view are tribal as he admits. Good criticism stands on the quality of the explanations deployed. Nothing to do with tribalism.

Is ESG a way to to control at the company level, like DI was at the individual employee level?
Would love to connect with the first ~300 fellow listeners of all my pods.
When your reliable inputs are Breitbart and Mark Levin etc., Balaji's ideas show the extreme bias in his thinking. No wonder his ideas of Blue and Red are so nutty.

Unfair that Balaji portrays red Ameroca as neocon imperialism.
Traditional red America was anti interventionism.

Solid
Erik is in way over his head on geopolitics and anything that happens outside the US. Please get someone who can hold court with Balaji next time.
