Yeah but her copying black women didn't land her her first movie, record deal or her own clothing line ..ALOT of Latina's sometimes copy US. .but that doesn't mean.they will have a successful career like Jlo.

I felt a bit challenged when I turned 40.....I will turn 50 this year......this whole decade.....JLo has been an inspiration of youth, age defying and a role model for women that we still have a place in this world despite our age.....Thank u JLo!!!!! In that movie, "Hustlers." She was awesome.....body wise, face wise, talent wise......I pray she wins a prestigious acting award....

It’s kind of funny how everyone believes her agelessness is purely from having money. Allow me to clarify something mind-blowingly simple but can be extremely challenging for many of us. It’s called - STATE OF MIND. This is probably the true reason for her success, and in turn, her youth.
She believes in herself and has faith in herself, even and especially, during the rough patches where public judgement was at its worst. This is true strength of mind, guys (not to mention heart). ✨✨✨
People talk crap about any celeb for any reason. Celebs are people to and some or many have their drawbacks or good and bad times for any reason. good to know she not do drugs or use anything that can ruin u overtime and make u look like crap cause all the crap that can tear u apart from the inside out can cause anyone to look like crap overtime. know matter how she able to still look so good, she says she has learned a lot and finds ways to stay on track. have some her movies , and some cds by chance. no matter people talk crap about her for any reason, if u like her over all then good. dont let others jealousy or distaste ruin ur interest of her career and all. i dont know everything about her , but still like her as a fan.

Such a lovely woman JLo. I always thought about her that among a lot of celebs she has a deeper, more very sensitive meaning of true Love and she doesn't hide it. Everybody these days in fear of getting hurt hides their true feelings about love, people even try to escape it but she embraces it. She's a very sensitive girl in matter of her heart yet tough enough to deal with it all in a very calm manner.

Listening to this interview made me wanting to put this comment, to write that from my point of view, and i grew up watching her (wanted or not she was everywhere), i think that she must be really proud of herself not so much of that she made it all, that she was in movies, that she sing and dance but mostly bacause she lived and still live her life in full and beside everything i admire her mostly on that, she is showing how human being can be unstoppable and Have to be only if she/he want it, cuz we all have one life, going trough hard and good, we all are, but we still have to know that Life is a gift that needed to be lived in a best way. She was already well known way before then with the movie "Selena" in 1997 making her recognizable but can owe her prominence to P. Diddy who put her on the map dating him and all the media circus surrounding them starting from her infamous green dress to their legal trouble with the night club shooting in 1999... In fact people didn't even take her seriously when she came out as a singer until she dated him they gave her a second look...I like her but not a huge fan of hers but she knew how to capitalize on that exposure and i ain't mad at her for that!

We all know how she gained success from a Fly girl in In Living Color to her groundbreaking movie, Selena, to her hit records. All I was saying is that, just like most successful artists, there's a lull in their careers and for awhile, she wasn't really doing much until AI called and from there, her career caught a second wind and she hasn't looked back since.
