Brandon remember that Walnut is pregnant and she's in a new place and she scared you don't want to stress her out while she's pregnant. If she doesn't want to kneel down for you now wait until she's used to being there and then show the kids. Don't push her she's scared.
Many years ago I took my oldest son to a farm that raised miniature ponies. The weight they could carry on their back was 50 lbs. One little girl was 49 lbs. They would not allow her to ride.
It's wonderful that you have new Babes for the Eddy Fam👍🏻😊 Not Sure if you know, probably do now, Llamas and Alpacas mate while female is lying down, hence the excitement for Badger😏 Not sure if pregnant ones should be ridden, but they can only bare 75-100 lbs. The ponies will thrive with your family, poor things being so skinny😔 they are definitely gonna love it at your homestead 👍🏻💗
I love your channel and your excitement for the animals! I’ve had horses for 32 years and here’s my advice, studs can be dangerous. Geldings are the greatest ponies/horses you can get! Also those ponies are way to little and won’t be able to be ridden. I would buy a Shetland or medium sized pony from someone that has a broke one that has been ridden. The kids would have way more fun and y’all wouldn’t worry at all. I used to go jump on my pony with no halter or anything and just sit on him and hang out. That’s what you want❤️ miniature horses are not rideable, ponies are and geldings are the best you could ever get ! I don’t know much about llamas but probably only briley should be riding it. But not while pregnant. The only reason I gave my pony advice is because I know how much fun the kids would have one a broke one they could ride and how worry free it would be for mom and dad ❤️
I completely agree. I know the larger horses makes you nervous but a small horse about 13-14 hands tall would be great….like she’s said above. Find a horse that’s been ridden by lots of kids.

One of the first things you should do with those Minis is Deworm them. It will help them out a lot. That might be part of the reason why they are under weight.
Love all the new animals. They are all stressed and probably need time to acclimate to their new home. A llama should not carry more than about 50 lbs, especially since she’s a smaller one. Definitely no adults, their bodies aren’t made to carry all that weight.... and definitely not when pregnant. The minis are too small and probably shouldn’t be ridden even after they’re healthy. Please google. Would hate for any to be hurt. But in the end, your animals, your decisions. Good luck with all your new animals. God bless 🙂
Brandon, Steph & kids ya'll did a great job getting the Weed Barrier down. Just a small pointer. Please let the hose get the hot water out of it before watering your plants. Hi guys, the kids seemed pretty excited with the new animals. Brandon I can’t get over how much Kayson looks like you, he looks like your double, cute kid. The kids all seem to want to help that’s fantastic. The two of you are so good at listening to the kids when they are talking, I love that, I could have been better at that myself. 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
I'm sure that your children know that you did the best that you could do in your situation . And they are probably better off than they would be if you hadn't reared them the way that you did !!!! I hope that you have a GREAT weekend !!!!!!
The girls excitement seeing the ponies was just priceless all so worth it. Those babies are going to get the best TLc they need and the girls are going to love them every min.. Brandon I have to say you summed it all up. When you said your Wanting to Learn and teach your kids. We never know it all no one is perfect but what we can all do is learn and grow. You're a great family. Kids growing up in the country is so healthy and such a huge learning experience. You do what you have to do to protect your animals, food supply and family.
The new animals look good, you will have them healthy in no time. The kids were happy. The garden looks great the kids are more than willing to help. Take care ❤️🙏👍☀️
Steph and Brandon, you continue to amaze me with the way you allow your children to help with the farm, feeding the animals and the helping with the garden. You are so patient with them and you help build their confidence in their capabilities to do anything. You thank them and they can tell how much you love them and each one is as equally important as the other. Great job!

Yeah I heard Cassie and Gary tell everyone to always get the chicken netting that it works for all needs. Keeps everything out. Guess you can use that fencing for something else once you get the other smaller sized netting to put up. I never get tired of seeing how well behaved and helpful your children are with everything on the farm. Best kids come from best parents. So happy you were able to get the two tamed llamas, and one that the kids can ride is amazing! blessings to you all!

Prayers that yall can catch this bobcat and get rid of it before it gets any of yall's animals. Love getting to see all of the new animals that yall got at the auction love all of them. So happy you were able to get some female llamas so Badger now has some females to breed with once they have their babies, I think it's awesome that they're already going to have babies soon. Also I think it's amazing that they are calm and friendly to the point that yall can pet them and the one that the kids can even ride her that is so amazing. Hopefully yall caught the escapee chickens so they will be safe overnight until yall can get them in a Chicken Coop of their own or at least a pin of their own to keep them safe. God bless yall.
Love all the new animals guys. So glad you are going to take of the ponies as well. I think badger is just trying to show his dominance since he wasn't trying to properly mount the girls. 1 other thing that I could be totally wrong about, but you might want to check with Marie or your vet but I believe llamas and horses feel pain when they have to walk over rocks. Love you all.
Love all the new animals 😍 garden is going to be amazing 👏 Leighton is going to be a amazing young man, with many skills from living and learning on your farm 👍 🇦🇺🐨🦘
AWESOME. 🦙🦙🐐 👭👬 🐓🐓🐎🐎. It won't be long and the ponies will be filling out. Did they tell you the names of the Lamas? When is the biggest one due to having her baby? Will Bagger get as tall as the girls? Your garden is going to be awesome. About the rabbits. I know you got the electric fence. Those little rabbits can get through it. Do y'all have any chicken wire or left over tin like you put on the barn roof? I have planted flowers for years but as soon as I put them in the ground the rabbits, javalinas, and little gophers eat them. After trying for a few years I had to give up. 😢😊. It was getting too expensive. Then the rabbits eat the new grass as soon as it comes up. It was a rough couple of years. Our land is small but it was virgin soil. Your pastures are looking amazing. Loving that one pond that Stephanie and Braylee were walking around the other day. With all the trees filling out. Sure looked pretty. Stay well.🌻 Be safe. Bye Grammy from Arizona 🧑🦳🏜️🌵
Brandon and Steph I’m not 100% sure but I believe when the female lays down the male thinks image is laying for him. So maybe I would put badger in another pin when the kids want to ride! And that garden is ginormous for your first time gardening!!!!! I love it! Good luck
You should provide yourself a walking path between rows so you need to make a space wide enough just to walk and tend to your garden in between that weed barrier. Covering up your walkway in my eyes only waste the weed barrier only because the part you're using to wahkon could have been used in another planting area
I am glad that the children love the new ponies and all the other new animals that you got. They are always excited to help around the farm. I pray that you will catch that Bobcat, Leighton. Thank you so much for sharing. Love and Blessings to you all. Doris, Penrith 🇦🇺🦘 💚💚💚💚💚💚🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Garden: a lot of animals don’t like jalapeños. Spread along your fence line (inside). Can use ground beside fresh. Using fresh wear gloves and cut up into small pieces. Spread even the seeds. And small hole chicken fence. I use these two items around my garden. (No animals in my garden for over 20 years). Thanks for sharing your adventures on your homestead!
That’s very good I dear Brandon, an old piece of fencing, make great Garden staking for the plastic covering are used to use coat hangers the metal coat hangers and cut them and bend them and use those. It’s crazy to pay five dollars for a package of 30 wire staples that you pushed down into the ground when I have a closet full of extra wire coat hangers, that I could use out in the garden and you re-purposing the fence. Is perfect those small short pieces like that or ideal for making pegs for the garden. It’s a good way to use up small materials.❤
Love the way you all come together to do stuff on the farm your family is so nice and Love your new animals looking forward to seeing the kids taking good care of them bless you and your family lots of love from everyone in ireland ❤❤
Great addition to your little home stead with your new animals. So glad the little pony’s have a better home to get them healthy. Animals are so good for kids to learn about caring and helping them when they feel sad. God bless🇨🇦
What a nice big garden. Love to see the kids actively participating by helping plant and learning how to fertilize n water. They will appreciate their vegetables more when served in their meals. Your ponies are beautiful. What's their names? Kayson's chickens are so beautifully marked, he has to be so happy with them. Such a great way to have family time together. Thanks for sharing.🥰🙏❤️
Hi Brandon, Stephanie and your wonderful children. I'm so glad you are giving your children wonderful experiences, with learning how to care for these great animals, thus giving them valuable skills for living successful lives. You must protect your animals from predators, and not relocate them to kill other farmers animals. I'm glad you got those two ponies, chickens and Lammas. The pones need extra TLC and you will see a wonderful transformation in them. When I was in my 20s I purchased a Morgan Horse, and his coloring was pale due to being anemic. Well, withing 6 months after Vet care, good food, and plenty of steady exercise, his coloring became a deep Mahogony, and we had many fine pleasure and competitive trail rides, and he loved to jump. My parents told me I had blossomed from the experience of learning to care for this horse. This helped me in my personal and professional life too! Also, i love the Garden plot you have prepared and enjoy the children participating with the work. God Bless all of you and keep up your building your homestead. Love your tiny house remodel too! I love both of your UA-cam Channels. Eddy Farm Fam and Life on Eddy Farm Family.😄
Brandon next time someone says to relocate the animals. Ask them where the live so you can bring it to them. Then maybe they will understand.. Love the new animals and will continue watch.
Even for a moment they should wear a riding hat. 1 slip and you may not catch them. Especially it is important to emphasise safety from the outset. We all know how quickly things can go wrong. X
Layton is so patient with his brother and sisters that is awesome too kids in the city's are not watching videos like yours the kids are learning what working for your food is there's to much technology for them love how your teaching them
Love the new animals, so much fun riding the lama. So very proud and happy for you all. I love the way the kids love to help do everything, your doing a Wonderful job with the kids.
Aww they can do a great job rehabilitating & after you get them fit you can sell and buy bigger ponies they can ride. Start a little business of their own girls are the best little trainers 🤠
My best production from a garden was when I built up 12" high burrows like rows covered with weed block, cut bottoms out of 1 gal pots and put in the burrows about 3" above and planted plants in them and ran drip irrigation to each plant then covered with 3" of mulch. No weeds lots of produce.

I agree and if she's expecting they shouldn't be ridden until afterwards. That's just my opinion 🤷
When is she due?

Bye

Brandon and Steph I’m not 100% sure but I believe when the female lays down the male thinks image is laying for him. So maybe I would put badger in another pin when the kids want to ride! And that garden is ginormous for your first time gardening!!!!! I love it! Good luck
I would definitely invest in rabbit fencing to put around your garden. I'm excited to see how your garden does this year. ❤
You should provide yourself a walking path between rows so you need to make a space wide enough just to walk and tend to your garden in between that weed barrier. Covering up your walkway in my eyes only waste the weed barrier only because the part you're using to wahkon could have been used in another planting area
I love your chanel. I am so happy to see you raising your children on the farm. God bless you all
I'm glad ya'll had a great time on the trip. God bless, be safe, love ya'll ❤️ 😊
I am glad that the children love the new ponies and all the other new animals that you got. They are always excited to help around the farm. I pray that you will catch that Bobcat, Leighton.
Thank you so much for sharing. Love and Blessings to you all. Doris, Penrith 🇦🇺🦘

The new animals are cool and the kids were surprised. 👍❤🐾🐎🐐🐕🐥🐣🐓🐔🙏
It’s great watching all of the kids making their own special memories with their Dad. Great video! 🇺🇸💖👏🏻‼️
The kids reactions were great to watch. They really liked riding the llama.❤️❤️❤️😊
They ponies especially the male is beautiful. I love the silver color. I know you will get the ponies back to great shape.
Good luck with all the new animals and your garden.
God bless🇨🇦
Congratulations on the news animals on the Farm I hope you catch the bobcat it doesn't hurt any of the chickens or any other animals
Beautiful animals, garden is looking good, hope you have a lot of good vegetables.
Lol that’s a good idea
The females will spit at Badger while they are pregnant. Love the mini’s! I know you guys will have them in shape in no time!
I agree Maureen. With the feed, hay & the kids love they will be good in no time.
Yes!! Minis on the farm!! I’m glad y’all got them.
Even for a moment they should wear a riding hat. 1 slip and you may not catch them. Especially it is important to emphasise safety from the outset. We all know how quickly things can go wrong. X
Love y’all bunches 💙💖💙💖💙💖
❤👋hope your having a great weekend. Love seeing the tiny house being built. The harden too o heck love it all❤️
Enjoyed seeing the kids' reactions to the new animals! I hope Leighton catches all the critters.
Layton is so patient with his brother and sisters that is awesome too kids in the city's are not watching videos like yours the kids are learning what working for your food is there's to much technology for them love how your teaching them

Hi my name is Amelia Rosales
I like all your animals like you got on your farm I enjoy watching watching the animals
That garden is a fabulous size you will be able to grow a lot of veg for your family and friends…
Aww they can do a great job rehabilitating & after you get them fit you can sell and buy bigger ponies they can ride. Start a little business of their own girls are the best little trainers 🤠
Stephanie you had me laughing at you laughing..You were really tickled. Have fun with your animals. ❤️🙏
My best production from a garden was when I built up 12" high burrows like rows covered with weed block, cut bottoms out of 1 gal pots and put in the burrows about 3" above and planted plants in them and ran drip irrigation to each plant then covered with 3" of mulch. No weeds lots of produce.
Hi ❤❤❤❤❤ you are doing great. I LOVE WATCHING YOU ALL LOVE THE KIDS. I WISH I COULD GET GOATS 🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐 AND THE PONYS🐎🐎 LIKE YOU HAVE.
