Man, Geese is so powerful in this game. The counter throws rock, and Deadly Rave is one of the most entertaining moves to pull off. Fighting him on the other hand. Complete nightmare. "Ah Will Stain Mah Hanz, Wid Yur Brud." Priceless.
No problem =). I've been watching a lot of your videos, and I honestly wish I had this game, along with the first two sf3's. However, it's impossible to find them online, and for dreamcast too. Keep up the good work!
Hey,waitaminute,I sure didn't see that intro piece for that one background fight stage, you know the one where there are cars in the street and a huge fire in the background? of course I only had the PSX copy at the time. Strange thing to see though, thanks for the video.
you mean "so much better than MVC2" I do partially agree with you though, the original CvS is pretty damn sweet, I consider them about equal, which is rare when dealing with sequels (they either get way better or way worse).
Well, at the same time CvS 2 had 3D backgrounds (personal preference thing, I like 2D and 3D as long as they're good), more characters, and the 6 grooves just allows you more customization. Like I said, I consider it a rare instance of being equally good without one being unnecessary. Personally, I also prefer single matches vs. team battles, which for me gives a nod to CvS 2.
today i spent 30 minutes on training mode figuring out how to do the zangief moves and i did and now i can finally use him. I wanted to use zangief since super street fighter 2 for SNES but i never knew how until today i finally mastered it. Then i played v. CPU and i did really well.
I love this game but if it had characters like Kaede from Last Blade, Marco from Metal Slug, Haohmaru, Hayate, Hanzo, K', Hayato from MvC2, Mega Man, Strider, Leo from Warzard, Arthur, and Alex from SF3, that would have made the roster balling
well that was one of the problems with capcom vs snk. aside from the art department of sprites, the roster was more of Street Fighter vs The King of Fighters.
i think zangief is the most powerful player in the Capcom v. SNK games. His power moves take away as much as a special of most characters. That's if you know how to use zangief and do his moves. i don't but if i did i'd only use zangief constantly.

This is the first time I've seen a player with good enough control to do Zangief's grapple moves like the CPU.
No but I wish at times though. I'm using my standard DreamCast controller for this video.

They trick is to do the 360 or 720 whenever I do a roll with Zangief ;p

You're too good at too many games!
hey dude i was asking if this was Capcom vs snk or if it was new or not
is it just me or does geese have thrill issues with falling off high ass buildings?
I wish someone would do a playthrough for CVS2. I wanna see Haohmaru in action.

Haha! Thanks JTikal :D
this verison differnt from capcom vs snk 2 This real?
Cool vid, are you working on the capcom side right now?
Yeah, there's an option to change the theme music but you have to unlock it.
You do 720's with a DC controller?
You are god
lol if u have played street fighter iv dan's special move is him rolling on the floor cursing!
Gotta hate those 4-man R1 teams.
yeah i agree. character selection wasn't great due to the ratio feature.
