Jacob Abraham | Andrew Noman | Alan Attley | Kevin Curtin
Jacob Abraham & Andrew Noman were both two vibrant, outgoing lads who became victims of suicide one after the other.
Nicola Abraham mother of Jacob decided to set up the Jacob Abraham Foundation just weeks after her sons death to raise awareness for others in the same boat.
But the loss of Jacob was too much for best friend Andrew who then just months after done the same thing.
Suicide Awareness Week is around the corner so we had to get Nicola on.

Thank you for sharing Jacob’s story with us Nicola!
Keep up all the hard work ❤️
I just listened to the whole podcast mate, really impressed with how much sensitivity you showed that poor mother but you still asked the hard questions that need to be asked, I lost a childhood friend to suicide and I still think about him all the time, and a key point you made is how cocaine abuse is almost normalised now and it's never treated like heroin and other drugs, probably because cocaine doesn't carry the same stigma, it's so common now and I myself have suffered many weeks depressed after a alcohol and cocaine binge, I rarely drink anymore for that reason I just can't handle the hangover/comedown, I related with Jacobs story so much in my own self destructive relationship with alcohol and drugs, and there's millions young men doing the exact same thing every weekend, well done for highlighting this unspoken but huge underlying problem in British society and culture, big respect Cullan 👊
Heartbreaking this one cull
I know, I’m glad you watched it tho thanks for supporting! Stay Central

This charity has done so much for the city! Thanks for having them on!
Would really like to know if she thinks that a change in drug policy would be beneficial? If drugs were less stigmatised could it be argued that a lot of these feelings of guilt and shame after bingeing could be reduced? Not saying it’s the answer to the problem, but something else that could help reduce harm.
Yes it defo would Cullan works within the drug services and it’s something they fight for often, it will solve a lot of problems!
What an amazing lady. Maximum respect.
Remember this happening. So tragic.
How she has come through it is testament to her character.
Great Vid Cull. Done with compassion

I lost my brother to suicide when he was 17. His story is so similar to Jacobs, heart breaking. My heart goes out to his family💚
Sorry to hear dem! Stay Central
R.I.P. Jacob. I lost my brother to suicide when I was 28 years old and he was 26! This wrecked my family! It broke my Mum and Dad into pieces ,same with my other two siblings! I'm 52 years old and I'm still deeply troubled, something I believe I will never come to terms with ! God bless the family's who have been affected by this disease that seems to be sweeping across the country like wild fire!
God Bless you and your brother Wayne. Stay Central!

Hats off to Nicola, owe my life to the Jacob Abraham foundation helped me a lot during the darkest time of my life.
Currently raising money for JAF by doing the Brecon to cardiff 43 mile ultra marathon just to hopefully help someone else with the money that’s raised.
Loved this episode. Very emotional. Nicola spoke so wonderfully as always 💗 🦁
Hearing this story has broke me early this morning man. I relate to it on so many levels. I've been so close in my own life on many an occassion and even now years later where I don't do coke/pills and rarely drink but that dread, depression and anxiety still rears its head literally out of nowhere, its so difficult to understand esepcially cos my circle is so tiny. Its hard to get through. Much love and respect to Nicola. I feel your pain, a truly amazing lady. Keep up the incredible work with the foundation. Big Love 🖤
❤️❤️
Brilliant watch such a inspirational lady! Cullan smashed it again bro! This has made me make sure I check up on my mates especially the ones that seem happy! Stay Central
Impressively strong woman. To take something so hurtful, so tragic, then turn it into a power to help others. That's a sign of an amazing person. Love and respect for the purpose of helping others in life. Having been in the position myself, where I can't sleep, fueled by too much cocaine, while my conscience attacks me and my mind tortures me, I can sympathise with how people end their lives in that kind of state. Coke is no good for anyone. It harms everyone it touches in one way or another.
You're good at this interviewing game Cul, well done bro. Good point made about adversity in childhood making a person battle ready in adult life too. I believe that. This conversation struck a cord with me, appreciate you both for this one.
D lions thank you mate, you’ve been here for the journey and for you to be touched by a podcast in a personal way is rare!
Thank you & Stay Central
