Brian is sooooooo underrated.....one of the best vocalist the UK has produced. Souful as hell when he's ready....the last part of the song how he dressed it down with the vocals was just ridiculous..-19 seconds was incredible...hats off to them as whole I've always been a fan 👏
He really is sooooo underrated. I I’m here in 2022 still listening to their music 🎶 I will always be a fan. The 90s hold very special memories ❤️

I watched this when it first aired live back in 1998 and it seems like it was only yesterday, holy shit that's a voice Brian has got there, he was in his ABSOLUTE PRIME!! back then and he can still kick it 25 years later too, I really hope Brian gets the justice he has worked so hard for from the VILE ESTABLISHMENT!! he is a BEAUTIFUL SOUL!! that saw the dark side of the industry and got away from it damn quick thank God 🙏💜🙏

Tony made all the money in east 17 and is a very talented guy but couldn’t have done it without Brian
He didnt make that much, ye had songwriting credits but the whole band were grossly underpaid for what they accomplished. Tony was smart and invested at the right time in property

E-17 Resurrection my most favourite album. I’m a huge fan of E-17 1998 should of been their year but unfortunately the album didn’t sell,the album is seriously ahead of its time.Amazing performance from them 💯❤️
Yea shame, the 2 singles were hits this song + "Betcha Can't Wait". But the album: Resurrection got outside the top 40 not just in UK but also in Germany, Belgium, Austria, + Switzerland!
I thought off of them 2 hit singles-the album would of also been a hit for them.

There’s not many ‘boy band’ singers that have truly fantastic voices with great range and control but Brian is one of them. He’s as good as Timberlake is. Such a shame he can’t kick the past and move on. It’s not too late.
The comparison should be between Brian and JC Chasez , instead of Justin. Justin is great performer and had outstanding music
career, both solo and and as a group but JC is the best singer among NSYNC members, just like brian

Oh. My. God. Brian's vocals are genuinely even better than I remember. You're looking at one of the best ever vocal performances on TOTP and easily one of the greatest male vocalists the UK has ever produced.

There are many things that make this performance golden for east 17......Brian Harvey has a fomominal voice (should have been solo and not in the 'cheesy' band's as very big potential!!)......also if you listen, the backing band is fully live too!!!! There is a huge difference in hearing the studio backing track and hearing it in real life, as the beats can on occasion, not be played perfect.... everything here is 100% live and that makes it.....hats off too Chris Cowie, the executive producer, for making this happen, because in the 80's it would have been karaoke in Vina karaoke bar (if you know you know 😂😂😂😂)

Talented, charismatic, strange, unique, discovered his talent by chance, outrageous, came out of the people and the ghetto, a star, the best rhythm and blues and soul voice of England, with a unique gift, destroyed by newspapers and his rash behavior and statements. But this is Brian Harvey, he couldn't be any different. Underestimated, due to the mutation of modern music and the end of the boyz bands era and the decline of the golden era of hip hop and soul/rhythm and blues. Brian Harvey and East 17 will always remain in our hearts. But unfortunately, and it's obvious that his voice could not compete at that moment with Boyz2Men, Jodeci, and the American soul/rhythm and blues/gospel market, and even with Backstreet boyz and Nsync, there were more powerful voices and bigger budgets in this market. Not fate. But we still love you Brian Harvey and we'll remember you so amazing, you're a legend. There is no you, there is no East Seventeen. Peace.
