He was elevated to the global stage when working a market stall/learning plumbing and added into Tony Mortimer's record deal and then lucky again to become lead vocalist He got hundreds of thousands of pounds a year but kept undermining T.Mortimer who was the guy writing the music that made them all that money and then as soon as Mortimer got sick of the undermining and left the songs didn't sell anymore cause Brian actually isn't a great writer and had too big an ego. Meanwhile, he had spent all his dosh where Mortimer had skipped on the lavish clothes etc and invested mostly in property that paid off huge dividends over a long period of time

No, he was treated the way he was after saying in a radio interview that ecstacy was a safe drug to use. After he came out with that cobblers, nobody would touch him with a bargepole. Is that really why the management fucked him over, because they knew that Brian had realised?
