Thank "You" very much. I finely get it. My eyedoctor has zero bedside manner. 4 years since I was told about this condition. And did not understand what it was. Now I have glaucoma so I now know what to ask about when it comes to removing the cataract.

When you dilate you increase IOP. If it is 25 what would you do? Mannitol and later exam the eye?

I was diagnosed recently with Psevdo exfoliation glaucoma. Two days before my visit to the eye specialist I’ve notice that in a morning my eyes were glued to each other with some substance. Eye specialist told me that I have mild form of Psevdo exfoliation glaucoma and prescribe eye drops Xalatan, which was very helpful.
    I do not have cataract.
    I’m 72 year old.
My question to you is: with eye drops and maybe surgery how many years I have before I will lose my vision completely?

Hi As you are 72 - and if you currently have good field of vision and the treatment is working successfully - you may find that your progression in the disease is slow enough that you will not actually notice the decline. In addition, given your age you will likely pass on without having the disease take your sight.
