Hope you make more videos in the future on CAD designs for 3D printing because this video is really good. I'm a beginner myself but you made it clear to follow. Also where did you learn how to use Solidworks so well? Watching you efficiently work is like art
Thanks! Still a lot more to learn. I recommend doing this free course to learn all the basic controls. www.udemy.com/course/solidworks-essentials/
Then making a lot of random basic things
Cool man!!! The box does look super sturdy!
Thanks for sharing the demo. I've been working on a hinge design and this video was very helpful!
Glad it helped!
Hey I enjoyed your video so much I felt like commenting for once. I appreciate how I was able to learn new methods for working in CAD software from your methods. I wish you the best with the channel I'll be here to every now and then
Thanks! New project in the works! Is there something on CAD you been looking to make in particular?
Do you think the design works still if you have offset halves of a box so the hinge acts more like a lid section instead of being at the middle of box?
Won't it break? My previous print had a center shaft that broke easily
very useful. Thank you
I'm stuck in the part where you use the 25% of the length minute 6.20 . Where or how do you set the length value?
I set extruded length as variable at 1:53. I also set the width and depth at 1:13 and 1:23.
Good video. Thank you
can you detach led and snap back? Is it suitable for 2 part injection mould?
Good thing you drive a Toyota..
Yeah, the lesser man Lexus
