Director here.... Thanks for all the great comments I'm sure Baz will get to answering some soon enough. This was kind of a test video for me, as you may or may not know I get final edit, I cut a lot out to keep it interesting and not long winded but in this 1, I left in a lot of Baz's thought process so a lot more talking/thinking in just to show a little more of what he goes through when taking a job on. If I left it all in the vids would be way to long and wouldn't get the traction off UA-cam. But let me know if this is a good thing or not, its you guys that make this possible so I want to put out what you want to see the most of. Soon as we link up with Dan its gonna ramp up a lot fore sure.
That handrail might look like overkill today but if you were at the end of a week of 12 hour overnight shifts, middle of winter, everything slippery, it starts to make sense.
Cheese and Ham butty with brown sauce, food of the gods, you aren't normal if you haven't had one. 🥪 Loving the 2 chapters per week format keep up the good work Baz, Callum and director.
great video and love your welding great to see you picking up loads of work from your channel a pleasure to watch a proper tradesman at work dying breed that guy 29yrs old wow the future is bright for him

That’s a brilliant yard thin boy has, fair play to him 29 year old and all that kit out working
Baz, you keep smashing it! I was particularly interested in the "old school" drafting on the floor. Perhaps next time a few still photo's of the process would make good content. The lines drawn are spot on. Brilliant. Wishing you and your team continued success. Cheers.
Great episode! Awesome job promoting the companies that hire you! It’s much easier to climb the mountain when you’re surrounding yourself with other successful companies!
Great vlog as usual on point as for the ham n cheese gotta have hp sauce i'm with Bazz on that food of gods for ones gutz , that ramp will be bang on get'r done nice welds Kal .
Another great episode you are spoiling us Mr welderfabber. Nice to see you doing good the work keeps coming in believe me Baz it's not just social media you have a lot to do with it's called HONESTY. Our Director seems to be going a.w.o.l. many times. All the best stay safe and well.
For the wash ramp. How about doing a partial pit in the middle (kind of like how they do service bays) so that you don't have to have such a steep angle. Granted probably considerably more expensive, but it could be an option.
I'm busy as hell all will be revealed at the end of Saturdays vid.. Setting up a business editing and a bit of filming takes a lot of time when we get settled I'll be around a lot more althou I am filming a special tomorrow so you'll see the close ups and good stuff.
Well done to young Rob !! Anthor brilliant episode. Who does your calculations for structural stuff? It would be great to know wear the loading shovel transmission is repaired and what was wrong with it. Keep up the good work thanks for sharing guys
Baz a lot of people don’t realise that OCD can take your life over and I’ve had it biggest part of my life and it can be exhausting. Mine is about safety and I have had the mick took out of me more times than I can remember. That job your doing making the ramp would have been like Fort Knox with the amount of steel I would have used.
Well done yous 2 another Great chapter so much good content pity you didn't build the titanic it would still be in use now 😂xx keep going from strength to strength Baz x
Come on Baz, Sol-ford, not Sal-ford, you sound like a BBC reporter 😂 Salfordians are very proud of their city, mint how the work is flooding in, it's a credit to your crew 👏👍
To take the angle out of the ramp for the wash down frame could you not sink a sump/ pit into the existing pad running the length of the horizontal which would negate some of the height which in turn would double up as both an access pit and silt trap (which can be dug out with a machine) Baz?
For the wash rack, what if it simply went up at a constant angle and had a dip for the front tires to drop into? Does the truck need to be exactly level?

Another fantastic video pal. Coming on nicely . Plenty of work and lots to see and do. 😊🎉
For the wash ramp. How about doing a partial pit in the middle (kind of like how they do service bays) so that you don't have to have such a steep angle. Granted probably considerably more expensive, but it could be an option.

Loving the work lads wish I could weld like that am blaming my kit well hope it is lol
Come on Baz, Sol-ford, not Sal-ford, you sound like a BBC reporter 😂 Salfordians are very proud of their city, mint how the work is flooding in, it's a credit to your crew 👏👍
Nothing, like picking up a brand new wagon.
Hi Baz, does the top of the ramps have to be level or could the whole structure not be sloping end to end.
“Escco” sells Miller welders in UK
To take the angle out of the ramp for the wash down frame could you not sink a sump/ pit into the existing pad running the length of the horizontal which would negate some of the height which in turn would double up as both an access pit and silt trap (which can be dug out with a machine) Baz?
possibly but then got drainage etc
For the wash rack, what if it simply went up at a constant angle and had a dip for the front tires to drop into? Does the truck need to be exactly level?
as well you know baz there are drivers and screwdriver lol
28:05 CAD Drawings........is that Cardboard Assisted Design ?
Looks as if they have cleaned up the area you worked. Do you know who is doing all the work?
I painted that truck
Put it over a two foot deep pit, and then you can drop it by two feet to get the slope .
Quick question Baz.
It seems cal doe's most of the welding is this part of his training
Cant film myself welding unless director comes but yeah I'm building a team and plan to do less over next 5 years
