- Still much cheaper than the original Yamaha grip-heater and I think also with a better control-unit.
If the wire in the heated grips dies then you can just replace the grips with some cheap ones.
To compare...the Oxford grip heaters have a stand-by current of about 50uA. Which is also good enough. Nothing bad with that.
But I could drop it to under 1uA...about 50nA.
