- Seed yam multiplication is one of the limiting factors in yam farming in Nigeria, as most farmers use one-third of their tubers as seeds for the next planting season, thereby limiting productivity and expansion of the scale of production

Half of the the mini set i planted gave me bigger,i was surprised.
We have also achieved that too.
It's could actually achieve table size tubers.
It's dependent on soil, nutrients level and management.
These put together can give you great tuber
I only use minisett each year and get market grade yams

1. You position the side with the skin to face the soil and the cut side to face up while you cover up with soil

@@ChidavAgriculturalHub anyway, my G, Kenya don't have palm kernel oil tree, it's only about 200 acres in the whole on Kenya. If you can do irrigation system, they're places that have cheapest land but no water there and the land is tropical, you can buy land as low as 200$ and be among the first sets of palm kernel oil producer in Kenya. You know Kenya currency has value more than these other Africa countries. You can also plant yams here and be the only one exporting
