That's so true. Not saying you're sorry will ruin a relationship. My cuzin accidentally killed my dog and my sister had some fight I apologized and she said OK.
I love you Arlene. I was feeling a lil blue yesterday and I decided to change that heartache energy into an energy of love. I actually did it,and i know you’re going to be alright. My goal is to become love itself, and I’m on my way. Music is a great way to change your energy, especially when we lose a love we thought would never end. I’m sorry for your loss. Remember, everything is only temporary here. Even love. Someone you don’t know loves you. Isn’t that awesome? Have a great new year!
Great that you went to school with him, but the song is not his. e.g., here are lyrics you probably never heard. When my fist clenches, crack it open Before I use it and lose my cool When I smile, tell me some bad news Before I laugh and act like a fool And if I swallow anything evil Put your finger down my throat And if I shiver, please give me a blanket Keep me warm, let me wear your coat No one knows what it's like To be the bad man To be the sad man Behind blue eyes
OK. I'm not a huge Limp Bizkit fan but this totally still jams after 20 years. Remembers hearing this all over radio in the 10th grade in 03 and 04. Not ashamed for liking this either. The Who version rocks as well!!!!
My grandpa loved this song and when we played it at his funeral it would sometimes just appear on our radio station where we had our own private playlist without that song in it. Even if we try to skip it a few songs later, it would still pop up.
The Who are an amazing band, with some incredible songs, but this is BY FAR the best version of this song. Fred took it in a completely different direction, he connects with it in a way that makes it feel like it was always his song. Cheryl Crow does a decent cover of Fred’s take on this song too. That she did a cover of his cover, and not a fresh take on the original, says a lot Scott how iconic this version is.
@@zidapi Man I loved your comment but I just can’t agree with opinion. In regards to rock music, The Who were the honest to god best to ever do it, in the top three at least. Every song they penned, they made the best version. A handful of their songs were covers and those are debatable. I still prefer their version of all their covers, exempt maybe Summertime Blues. I see this kind this same comment a lot with Love, Reign O’er Me and Pearl Jam, and Eddie Vedder specifically. I just can’t see anyone having a “better” approach or take on the music of these certified masters.
@@allbottledup9513 Yeah Daltry's vocals are just so powerful and the emotional journey he takes you on ranging from contemplative to rage and frustration within each song is tremendous. To me the emotional impact is much greater when the Who suddenly tones it down from explosive and raw to contemplative in this song. To be fair there weren't then and aren't today many rock singers that could match Daltry's vocals and how well they paired with Townsend's angry guitar licks, accompanied by one of the best ever drummer/bassist combos in rock history. To me it's why they are among the five greatest pure hard rock groups ever. (Stones, Who, Zeppelin, Queen, Jimi Hendrix Experience. I don't include Punk Floyd or The Beatles because they are both on a different plane musically, transcending categorization in many ways.)

You know what would be perfect? A version of this song with BOTH the original bridge in The Who’s version, with Bizkit’s added verse immediately thereafter! Ending with the opening line as always, of course.
I imagined had Wes Borland didn’t leave Limp Bizkit before this cover was recorded on Results May Vary, they would’ve retained the bridge from the original version from The Who but they would’ve made it much more worse.

This song hits me so hard. I remember when I was a child, I was in the car with my parents, and this song was playing. A man from the darkness carjacked us and killed my parents in front of me. Surprisingly good
I like it better than The Who.
@@scorpionmk6695 yeah they know it's a cover but it still beats out the original
@@lachlanw7740 it really doesn't
Still here in 2024
Absolutely 😁
Yeah
I'm 52 years young and this song is beautiful Fred Durst has an amazing voice
And I'm 75. What does age have to do with it? The song is from the 1960's when the Who sang it (and wrote it).
I absolutely agree it's not about age,it's about his voice,I thank you for answering my comment I only discovered the Who wrote it recently, this is the only version I had heard but I did check the Who I still prefer this one
I also prefer this version@@victoriashellard528
I agree age has nothing to do with it, I did check out the Who original, I like this one.@@jessicahannah2522
@@jessicahannah2522 not sure when Pete started song for LifeHouse but was released in 71 on Who's Next
Música Maravilhosa !!!
Pse né br
Very dark and beautiful . Mostly dark though . It’s a crazy song absolutely wonderful in any case . Thank you

A música aborda a complexidade das emoções humanas, explorando a ideia de que as aparências podem ser enganosas, e que até mesmo aqueles que aparentam ser fortes podem esconder sofrimento interior.
Vdd, linda🎶🖤
Amo esta canción!!
This song is very underated. Maasterpiece.
It reached my soul after 50 years (I am 61 years old)
@@MrTheGranat indeed it is early 70's master piece, still i like original abit better.

This is song The Who.Limp Bizkit made good cover song!
I remember listening to this on the radio 4 years ago, nostalgia hits hard
very sad song but really great song :DDDD, thank you limp, my heart belongs you🤫
No one knows what it feels like to miss the chorus n keith moon's rolling drum beats 😪
Exactly my thoughts. Why would you cut out the heavy bit?
Best song ever performed by Fred. In my opinion.
That bridge slaps all the time
This song hits me so hard. I remember when I was a child, I was in the car with my parents, and this song was playing. A man from the darkness carjacked us and killed my parents in front of me. I spent the rest of my childhood learning martial arts. Yes I became a successful vigilante, but every time I hear the song "Behind Blue Eyes", it reminds me of my dead parents.
I am so sorry😢 I hope that carjacker is in a very bad place
From one martial artist to another I'm so sorry for what you had to go through but keep fighting you just might be somebody's hero one day.
really sorry 😭. and i'm not crying
No one knows what it’s like to be the Batman 😢
Oh my god, that's so tragic!
I feel so bad for you. :'(
This is so good it takes a lot to cover The Who and these guys do a great job
No time, she's done for.
Обожаю Лимп Бизкт

Best song EVER written, imo.
Bro what?
Me pone melancólica esta cancion pero la amo gracias LIMP BIZKIT
Say what you like about Fred, the man has a fantastic voice
no bitch
You seriously can't hear all the overdubs and pitch adjustment they've done to his voice?
nah dont, go listen to annenmaykantereit
@@christophergregory1205Even Bieber and taylor swift use pitch correction in the studio. In fact what you hear is filtered through layers of software.
