What about person over the age of 60 and not working, considered as retired. Though he is having property and assets on him name and is filer as well. Can be exempted as he is not working anywhere.

Asalam o alaikum, you said if someone send money home he or his wife etc must become filler, how come because what we earn here ,we pay tax here already, and send this tax paid money to pakistan and pay the tax again if it is more than six lacs? About the assets, most obviously a pakistani origin person can have house back home , either he inherit or he /she buy from his tax paid money, plz make a video on this and explain what is the proper thing to do ..

Sir plz help us I'm an iub 3 years llb program.uni. is not taking our exams regularly. They are delaying. I got admission in 2018 and because of delay I exams,results and unknown reasons in 2024 still they are doing same things. Plz if you can do something for law students 3 years iub LLB program. We are now over age for jobs and they are still delaying exams and after 9 months there are no result cards and no any schedule for the exams. Being student I'm completely helpless. The basis of income tax for a woman should be income--not a widow or non widow status.
A widow could be holding property assets and derive millions in rental income from it and still not pay a single penny in taxes because of her widow status while another non widow or unmarried working woman with much lesser salary income would pay income tax on it;the logic of total income tax exemption for widow regardless of income level is senseless.

Very good information, but one question, If a widow is currently non filer, she is a house wife if she invests money in a saving account she has to pay 30 percent tax on profit, but at the same time you mentioned that she can get tax exemption certificate from regional tax office, can she submit that certificate in her bank to avoid paying that tax on her profit?
Tax exemption is for income tax rather than tax of profit on debt.

you are providing wrong information. an overseas who lives more than 6 months outside of pakistan needs not to be filer. a person who lives in pakistan more than six months should file tax returns.
I am an overseas pakistani since 2022 and a non filer. I have a plot back in Pak and also a current bank account. I have not received any message on my Pakistani number from FBR to be a filer. I am only concerned about the recent news by FBR of blocking sims of non filers. As I have only one sim from pak and i receive all my bank transaction messages and details on that.
@@syedzeyadshah You dont need to worry as long as you live overseas more than 6 months. Don't forget example of Nawaz Sharif's sons who live in UK and do not file tax claiming they live more than 6 months even they may have properties and bank account in Pakistan.
